Victoria Beckham may have been anxious before her Spring 2011 presentation during New York Fashion Week on Sunday, Tweeting, “About to go!!!! Excited!!! Nervous!!!! X VB x” but the designer had nothing to worry about, pulling off the N.Y.C. show with her signature polish–and proving why she’s quickly becoming one of the hottest tickets in town. “What’s alluring for me this season are the curves of a women’s figure–sensual volume and a defined silhouette that allows for a freedom of movement,” Victoria told InStyle.com. Along with the elegant wearable dresses that were sent down the runway—sure to be coveted by existing A-list fans like Cameron Diaz and Gwyneth Paltrow—guests were also treated to a first look at her brand new line of handbags, which, if Victoria has any say in it, will rival even those of luxe label Hermes. “A Beckham can replace your Birkin,” Posh was overheard saying to a guest, according to InStyle.com. And in addition to her must-have “Victoria Satchel,” what is one of Posh’s favorite items from the collection? A travel tote that she designed for husband David! Said Beckham: “I had to put a bag in the collection that David would use.” To see more of Victoria’s spring 2011 collection, visit InStyle.com. –Gillian Koenig

Well well… the old tale of the wannabee reaching for the stars… Beckham as a luxury brand, I don’t think so… VB bags as good as LV… let’s wait and see, shall we?

To Jade: you wrote unfortunately you are plus size. you are beautiful no matter what size. its the designers who are unfortunate and too retarded to realize that we come in all sizes, not just the toothpick size that they design for.

She has such great style and the bag is BEAUTIFUL! I just really wish that it would be a line that the majority of people could afford.

Wow…I wish her well. She is classy and always put together. I hope her line is affordable.

Why the hate…perhaps they are ‘as good as a birkin’ without the overhead…she should know, she has more than a few :) Perhaps she just meant for the average consumer who can’t afford a birkin…that crowd is larger than those that can :)

Why does everyone have to hate? She is a great designer and an incredible dresser. I have to admit that I’m jealous of her, but I’m not going to diss her.
