Jennifer Aniston’s Fashion Inspirations? Cameron and Cate!

Face to face/iPhoto; Jason Merritt/Getty; Pascal Le Segretain/Getty

Jennifer Aniston‘s dedication to designer frocks and sleek looks has earned her more than her fair share of fashion fans, making her one of Hollywood’s hottest style icons. And while she consistently holds her own on the red carpet—most recently shining in a color-blocked Lanvin mini at the L.A. premiere of The Switch—the actress admits to pulling inspiration from other A-listers. “I love seeing Cameron Diaz on the red carpet,” she tells Extra. “I think she’s gorgeous and has a lot of style.” Another source of inspiration for Jen? Cate Blanchett, who Aniston lauds as “always interesting and unique.” And while Jennifer’s fashionable peers might have distinctly different approaches to style, when you put them together, Blanchett’s structured styling and Diaz’s surfer-girl sensibility somehow reflect Aniston’s own laid-back sophistication. But could this fashion equation be the recipe for a collection of her own? Aniston’s sly response: “Maybe.” To hear more, check out extratv.com. –Justine Harman

In the upcoming movie The Romantics, it’s a wedding that brings a group of friends together, but in real life, it’s the clothes! Back in June, the film’s stars–including Katie Holmes, Josh Duhamel, Adam Brody, Malin Akerman, Jeremy Strong, and Rebecca Lawrence–teamed up to model glamorous looks from J. Crew’s collection. Brand fan Katie Holmes proved her fashionista status on set in a crystal briolette dress ($1,500) and an olive poplin workshirt ($72), while costars Malin Akerman and Jeremy Strong made for one dapper duo in a tuxedo for him and a silk-and-sequin T-shirt ($148) and black sparkling miniskirt ($358) for her. Katie and Malin loved their looks so much that they ordered the items for themselves, and you can too! Scoop up Katie and Malin’s looks at jcrew.comAndrea DeSimone

Taylor Momsen Trashes Rihanna’s Pop-Star Style

Courtesy SPIN Magazine

For Taylor Momsen, art imitates life. Just as her Gossip Girl character, Jenny Humphrey, takes pleasure in shaking things up on Manhattan’s prim-and-proper Upper East Side, so too does the actress seem to enjoy pushing the boundaries in real life. In a recent interview with Spin magazine, Momsen classified her personal style as “high-class hooker” and frowned upon anyone opposed to her black eyes and leggy looks. “I dress for myself,” she told Spin. “Clearly, it’s provocative, but it makes me feel good. And if the only reason it makes someone uncomfortable is because I’m 16, then that person’s a scumbag because it shouldn’t matter.” But the Material Girl muse and lead singer of rock band, the Pretty Reckless, is irritated—to say the least—that pop stars are passing as rock stars these days. “People think pop is rock, and the lines are getting blurred. Now Rihanna‘s wearing f– leather jackets, and it’s really annoying.” For Taylor’s full interview, check out Spin.com. Tell Us: What do you think about Taylor Momsen blasting a fellow fashionista? EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Go Behind the Scenes With Nigel Barker and Nine West

When top models like Coco Rocha and Jessica White aren’t working the runway during Fashion Week, they’ll be hitting the streets of New York City to raise awareness for Fashion Targets Breast Cancer, the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s (CFDA) charitable organization. Donning limited-edition Nine West boots equipped with pocket pedometers, participating models’ every step will be tracked for the brand’s Runway Relief Program, an initiative that will donate a pre-determined monetary amount to the cause, based on how many steps the models take. To kick things off, Nigel Barker will photograph 40 models rocking the new boots in an iconic N.Y.C. location on August 31. And unlike other Fashion Week events, you don’t need a ticket to get access! The shoot will be streamed live on modelinia.com and Nine West’s Facebook page, where the boots will also be available for purchase for $199. In this exclusive video, Nigel Barker and his top models chat about the charity and give PEOPLE.com a sneak peek at the limited-edition boots.–Jessie Goldberg
