Which of Katy Perry’s Three Looks (in Just One Day!) is Your Favorite?

INF; James Devaney/WireImage (2)

Forget the daisy dukes and skin-tight jeans—it was all about dresses for Katy Perry as she hit the streets of New York City on Tuesday while promoting her new album. The quirky pop star started her stylish day off on a sweet note, pairing a baby blue floral dress with a cotton candy-colored mohair shrug, Jennifer Meyer necklace and purple peep-toes, only to up her sex appeal for the afternoon in a coral Hervé Léger by Max Azria bandage dress and sultry gold sandals for an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman. For the day’s final fiesta–a rooftop album release party at the new Gansevoort Park Hotel–the “California Gurl” found the perfect combination of sugar and spice with a dash of glamour: A bow-tied and rosette-adorned, full-skirted Zuhair Murad frock complete with matching ankle-strap pumps. It was any teenage girl’s dream day of dresses! Tell us: Which one of Katy’s dresses is your favorite? – Christie LaRusso

Emma Watson Models People Tree’s New Fair Trade Collection!

Courtesy People Tree

Following a spring collection of vibrant knitwear, Emma Watson presents a fashion-forward fall range for British fair-trade label People Tree. While the style star admits she “wasn’t centrally involved in the design of this collection,” she did help the brand select the textiles used to create the bold styles that she models for fall. Her finds include a dogs-tooth hand-woven check, cable knits, and the first Fair Trade hand-woven brushed checked fabric, which was made into easy tulip skirts, dresses and shirts. Emma’s textile search took her all the way to Bangladesh, where she saw the benefits of Fair Trade first hand. “I still find it hard to convey what Fair Trade means to those producing our fashion — it’s just so impressive to see how the women have used Fair Trade clothing to escape poverty and empower themselves and their children. I was moved and inspired,” says the actress in a statement. Next up for Emma? Bringing her collaboration with People Tree to Prince Charles’s private gardens to showcase the label’s spring/summer 2011 collection. Check out this behind-the-scenes video of Emma’s trip to Bangladesh. And to shop People Tree’s fall collection, visit PeopleTree.co.uk.– Andrea DeSimone
