There is ‘No Way’ Gwyneth Paltrow Is Dieting

Timms/XPosure

When it comes to her enviable figure, Gwyneth Paltrow makes no secret of how she whips herself into A-List shape: Celebrity trainer and business partner Tracy Anderson. But does the actress’s regimen include starving herself? Absolutely not, says Anderson. “Gwyneth Paltrow will not diet,” the fitness guru told PEOPLE after leading a grueling three-hour workout session as part of an ALS in the Hamptons this weekend, sponsored by Neuro Drinks. “The woman loves her bread and loves her stinky cheese, and there is no way she’s dieting,” said Anderson, who credits Gwyn’s ever-svelte physique to hard work. “That’s why, when she found [my program] 4 years ago, she became my partner and such an advocate of it, because it works for her and she can look long and lean and she can eat . . . like me.” For her latest role in Country Strong, Paltrow also had to learn how to dance–with a little help from Anderson, of course. “Before I started working with her, Gwyneth had two left feet. She couldn’t dance at all . . . now she’s kind of a rock star.” –Jeffrey Slonim

Lauren Conrad Starting Another Clothing Line

Al Powers/Retna

After halting production of her first signature clothing line last year amidst a bleak retail landscape, Lauren Conrad is back at it again, with plans for a new contemporary collection already underway. With her affordable Lauren Conrad collection already being sold at Kohl’s, the former Hills star tells PEOPLE she is starting a new line with several of her best friends. “It’s a contemporary women’s line,” she revealed to PEOPLE while hosting a party at Las Vegas’s Tao Beach on Saturday. “Where Kohl’s is a lot of daywear, it’s a lot of basics. This will be more specialty basics, more of a boutique line. It will be at a higher price point. It will be very different.” And while Conrad, 24, said the new collection is just getting started, she can’t contain her excitement. “It’s one thing to work with a huge retailer like Kohl’s and there is so much you get to do, but there is a little more of a thrill of doing it on your own,” she said. “It’s a lot more work, it’s a lot more stressful, but it’s something I love doing so I’m really looking forward to it.” Tell us: are you looking forward to another clothing line from Lauren?–Mark Gray
