Supermodel Christie Brinkley Debuts Her QVC Jewelry Tonight

Want to add a little bit of supermodel-approved luxury to your everyday life? Drawing inspiration from the serene nature around her palatial Hamptons home, Christie Brinkley has designed a new fine jewelry collection for QVC. The Christie Brinkley Jewelry Collection will feature ultra-feminine bracelets, cocktail rings and dangle earrings adorned with luminous gemstones, such as Sky Blue Topaz and Moonstone, as well as statement necklaces and leather bracelets with floral accents. “This line is a celebration of all the things I love.” says Brinkley in a statement. “I’m excited to share these bright and beautiful pieces with so many women at such affordable prices.” And just how affordable are we talking? Brinkley’s collection will run from $45 to approximately $400. The blonde bombshell will hit QVC this Sunday, August 1 at 9PM EST to launch her collection live as well as on QVC.com. And don’t expect any stage fright from this new designer — Brinkley actually made her QVC debut back in 2002 for the launch of a beauty and hair products line! Here I am on the south Oregon coast, and whenever a shopping channel mentions the “Hamptons,” I always wonder what that means. Obviously it is a place, and apparently a lot of wealthy people live there. Maybe I should go there someday to check it out. People on the east coast forget there is a Pacific Northwest! Come visit us (QVC was on the mighty Columbia River a couple weekends ago for a show at the Columbia Gorge Hotel), so they are getting the message that there is something west of the Mississippi River!

What a gorgeous collection designed by such a lovely, inspirational woman!!! I have had the great honor of knowing Christie both personally and professionally for decades and I can say that she is without question one of the kindest, most creative and most beautiful souls on earth. Her radiant smile and ongoing success are testimonies to her unsinkable spirit and her true zest for life!!!

Even though I do not know Christie personally, her warm and wonderful spirit shine through and touch everything she does; whether it be her career, her family or just taking pictures around her town. She is a good and selfless person who helps a lot of causes. Good for her that she is creative and inventive enough to make something beautiful that many people like. YOU GO, GIRL!!!
