Demi Moore’s Newest Detox Adventure: Going ‘Clean’

Jason LaVeris/FilmMagic

Just weeks after Tweeting about her detox à deux with husband Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore is coming clean again about her latest fitness craze–but this time she’s talking up a totally different program. Admitting that she only lasted four days on the Master Cleanse, which consists of a diet only of Cayenne pepper, lemon juice, maple syrup, it seems that the star is onto greener (and more filling!) pastures. “2day’s day 13 4me on The Clean Program!” Demi Tweeted on Tuesday. The three-week cleanse, developed by cardiologist Dr. Alejandro Junger, has long been raved about by stars like Gwyneth Paltrow for its ability to depuff and detoxify the body by excluding common allergens and glutens. The non-fasting plan is also favored by some celebs who find its two liquid meals a day and one vegetable-, grain- and protein-filled lunch a more livable option than food-free detoxes. And while Demi doesn’t mention whether cleanse-resistant Ashton is joining her on this program, she’s just days away from crossing its three-week finish line. Renowned fashion photographer Mikael Jansson shot the steamy black-and-white images–making their official debut beginning mid-September–featuring Saldana looking hotter than ever. “I like when you are able to assist your body to look amazing as opposed to replacing anything, ” Zoe told WWD. “That’s exactly what Calvin Klein Underwear Envy does. The Fur Flies Over Janet Jackson’s New Ad Campaign

Don’t count Pamela Anderson as a fan of Janet Jackson now that the singer has signed on as the new face for luxury fur label Blackglama’s “What Becomes a Legend Most” campaign. In an interview with Out magazine, Anderson, a longtime animal rights activist, voiced her opinion on Jackson’s decision to wear fur in the ads. “It’s disappointing. She has spoken out against fur before. I don’t know why some people stop listening to their heart. I guess some people get greedy, but it’s sad.” PETA Senior Vice President Dan Mathews also sent Jackson a letter questioning her controversial choice. “You and I spoke at length about the fur issue. You told me that you were always aggravated at photo shoots when stylists would try to throw fur on you and that you were even wary of wearing fake fur out of concern that it might actually be real or look real in photos and send the wrong message. You were very straightforward and sensible about it. What happened?” Jackson joins a host of Hollywood legends who have appeared in the black-and-white ad campaign including: Diana Ross, Elizabeth Taylor, Lena Horne and Lauren Bacall. In a behind-the-scenes video from the shoot Jackson said, “If someone would have told me later in life that I would be alongside such legendary entertainers, I would have never believed it.” –Samantha McIntyre

kimkardashian.celebuzz.com

Her recent Malibu photo shoot had her proud older sisters blogging her praise — and got critics buzzing, as well. Now, 14-year-old Kendall Jenner tells PEOPLE how the beach shoot came to be — and why she’s excited to be a model. “I am excited to be working as a model, doing what I love to do.” The Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star says her family is on board with her decision to model. “My entire family was very supportive, though my dad [Bruce Jenner] was a bit concerned at first, he knows that I am responsible enough that I wouldn’t do anything I wasn’t ready to do, or didn’t want to do.” Kendall may be inspired by supermodels like Cindy Crawford and Gisele, but she’s not looking to grow up too fast either. “Going into this shoot, it was never my intention to be provocative or too racy. It was a beach shoot, and I was wearing beachwear. I am happy with my age, and am not trying to rush into anything too soon. I look forward to all the milestones my teens have to offer–Sweet 16, turning 18, and so on.” Luc Brinker, Kendall’s agent from famed modeling agency Wilhelmina affirms that the budding catwalker is on the right path, telling PEOPLE, “Kendall exudes such a high level of confidence and know how for her age. I’m sure that it comes from having such a great family that gives her endless support and is constantly encouraging her to shine. I think it’s the most important thing that a young models can have.” –Jessie Goldberg; Reporting by Michelle Tan

BUZZ: Chelsea Clinton to Choose Vera Wang For Her Big Day?

Frank Micelotta/Getty

Chelsea Clinton has set the fashion world abuzz this summer with speculation over which designer she’ll choose to create her wedding dress. Many can see Chelsea going to her mother Hillary’s go-to designer Oscar de la Renta, just as others view star-loved Vera Wang as a top option — but both houses have declined to comment so far. Yet as the big day approaches, we seem to be one step closer to a fashion verdict, with WWD reporting Wednesday that the presidential daughter will likely don Vera Wang, after being snapped outside the designer’s midtown N.Y.C. showroom on Tuesday. Chelsea, hiding under an enormous wide-brimmed straw hat, was reported to have been whisked upstairs with a friend by a Wang staffer. The designer is said to not only be creating Chelsea’s wedding gown, but also her bridesmaids’ and flower girls’ dresses, according to WWD. And while we’ll have to wait until the July 31 wedding to see just what Chelsea is wearing, it appears that de la Renta will still factor into the weekend-long celebration as the mother of the bride, Secretary of State Clinton, was also spotted at de la Renta’s Seventh Avenue showroom earlier in the day. See Today‘s full report on Chelsea’s wedding weekend attire and more below. –Gillian Koenig
