Orlando Bloom’s Newest Role: Face of Boss Orange Fragrance

Mike Marsland/WireImage

Orlando Bloom might be off the market, but you’ll still be able to get a little piece of the star–if you’re willing to jet to Europe, that is. The Pirates of the Caribbean swashbuckler has just announced that he’ll front Hugo Boss’s newest men’s fragrance. “BOSS Orange is a brand I immediately identified with because it has a laid back, spontaneous quality I relate to,” the actor says in a release. His men’s fragrance will be a follow-up to the women’s scent, which launched in Europe in 2009 with Sienna Miller as its face. And while details of Orlando’s campaign and the juice itself are still forthcoming, according to the actor, it’s smooth sailing when it comes to this latest role: “It’s been really fun–and there’s more to come!,” he teases. Unfortunately for American fans of the man and the brand, reps tell PEOPLE, that doesn’t include bringing the fragrance Stateside. Jim Spellman/WireImage

When we first learned that Bruce Willis would be launching a men’s fragrance this summer, we couldn’t help but contemplate catchy names for the new scent (Eau de Die Hard, anyone?). But now that the actor’s first signature fragrance is finally hitting shelves Thursday, the intrigue is over. Keeping it simple, the action star named the new men’s fragrance after himself. Bruce Willis eau de parfum, hair and body wash, deodorant spray and after-shave balm will officially launch this week in partnership with German direct seller LR Health & Beauty Systems, reports WWD. “The development of my new fragrance was really a lot of fun,” Willis tells the publication. “The products stand for individuality, uniqueness and sustainability.” So what does Bruce Willis smell like? The scent, which boasts a gray-hued juice, features notes of grapefruit, pepper and vetiver. Details on price and availability, however, have yet to be released, so you’ll still have to wait to learn whether or not the scent will eventually launch in the U.S. Tell us: Would you buy Bruce Willis for the tough guy in your life?Andrea DeSimone

Jenni “J.Woww” Farley Sends Her Filthy Couture Down the Runway

Retna

Jennifer “J.Woww” Farley was far from the Jersey Shore this weekend, instead using the holiday to send her fashion line, Filthy Couture, down the runway for the first time at Vegas hotspot Ghostbar. During the 35-minute show on Saturday, models bounded down the catwalk in everything from swimsuits and casual wear to items that Farley-coined “club wear”–almost all of which were anchored by a smattering of paint or lace. “A lot of these pieces are silicone, gel or hand painted,” the reality star told PEOPLE at the launch party. “[For] the bathing suits I wanted to go with a grungy, or sexy-grungy look with the chains, but I also wanted to keep it girly with the lace.” As for seeing her clothing line make its runway debut? “Very unreal. Surreal,” Farley said. “I’ve had this vision for a long time, and I’ve been in school for seven years doing it but I never thought it would come true.” As for the Filthy Couture name, Farley said it was inspired by “the genre of music that we like to listen to, you know, the guidos and guidettes.” Currently available at filthycouture.com, J.Woww plans to add T-shirts, jeans and sunglasses to the lineup come fall. Check out her runway debut below. –Gillian Koenig; reporting by Mark Gray

Christina Hendricks on Criticism of Her Curves: “I Still Remember All those Negative Comments”

Courtesy Health

After enduring a scathing public critique of her curves earlier this year, Mad Men star Christina Hendricks admits that she’s still smarting. “I still remember all those negative comments, despite all the wonderful positivity,” Health‘s July/August cover girl says of reading Internet postings about her appearance. “That’s why we’re all in therapy! [We remember] the 10 bad things that happen to us instead of the 100 nice ones.” But despite the criticism, Hendricks says she has always celebrated her curves. “Back when I was modeling, the first time I went to Italy I was having cappuccinos every day, and I gained 15 pounds. And I felt gorgeous!” she says. “And I never tried to lose it, ’cause I loved it.”  Now, at 35, the former dancer does have to work to maintain her famous shape, preferring weight training and working with the BOSU ball to the treadmill. “I’ve really had to train myself to get down to the gym,” she says. “But what surprised me was that my husband said [the other day], ‘I’m going down to work out,’ and I was like, ‘Oh, I wish I was going.’ My friends will read this and be like, “No you didn’t,’” she laughs. “But it’s true!” –Katherine Kluznik Rentmeester
