Naomi Watts Debuts a New Do At the ‘Salt’ Premiere

Steve Granitz/WireImage/AFF-USA

Naomi Watts made a fashionable appearance at the star-studded Salt premiere last night with two gorgeous additions– partner Liev Schreiber, and a brand new hair cut! Naomi’s new stick-straight hair was draped over her collarbone and styled with long side-swept bangs. “It was quite a change for Naomi,” said her hairstylist, Robert Vetica, who created a look that referenced 60′s British pop and a soft, natural, Studio 54 vibe. The stylist cut off two inches but left Naomi’s locks longer in the front and higher in the back. “They were first cut long and blunt, then razored and texturized to about the bridge of the nose so they looked lighter around the face,” says Vetica, who achieved Naomi’s silky smooth finish with Argan oil-infused Moroccanoil Light. Although we often see the striking blonde star pushing a stroller through Soho in sneakers and a casual ponytail, the actress proved she certainly knows how to glam it up on the red carpet, pairing her new do with a metallic strapless Gucci mini dress and a black-and-white Neil Lane diamond cuff and ring.–Jessie Goldberg

Kim Kardashian is ‘Flattered’ To Be Demi Lovato’s Fashion Icon

Gilbert Flores/Celebrity Photo, Vince Flores/AFF-U

When Disney star Demi Lovato revealed to PEOPLE over the weekend that Kim Kardashian was her fashion icon, both for her curves and confidence, she may not have known that the feeling was mutual. But after reading Demi’s praise for her style — the young singer-actress gushed that “I just love the way that she dresses” — Kim was so moved that she promptly took to her blog to express her gratitude. “I love that Demi is embracing her curves and I’m so flattered that she is looking to me for style inspiration” writes Kim. “Demi is one of the few young stars who manages to show off her own unique style and sense of self while still keeping her looks age-appropriate,” says Kim. “I know for me it was a long journey to get to where I am today, and if I can help just one girl feel happy and confident in her own skin by showing that girls should not aspire to be, nor should they feel pressured to be skinny, then I’ve made a little bit of a difference.” To hear more of what Kim has to say, check out kimkardashian.celebuzz.com. Nicky Hilton To Design Affordable Jewelry Collection

LuMar Jr./AFF-USA

Her sister Paris may be the most talked about Hilton, but Nicky is certainly making her own headlines in the fashion world. At just 17 she designed handbags for Japanese brand Samantha Thavasa before creating a clothing line called Chick by Nicky Hilton in 2004. Now, the 26 year-old heiress is adding to her design resumé with a costume jewelry collection set to launch for fall. “I’m a crazy jewelry collector,” Hilton tells WWD. “I’ve always known since I was a teenager that I wanted to do a line. Whenever I bought something, whether at a flea market in Paris or a bazaar in India, I’ve been collecting pieces.” Partnering with Titan Brands, Hilton is creating a collection that promises to be “high quality without the high price tags,” according to WWD. Her new line will include three collections: Art Deco, inspired by her mother and grandmother’s David Webb pieces, as well as Spikes and Snakes, which will span everything from classic Deco to contemporary edgy styles. Wholesale prices for the line will range from $35-$480. Hilton’s new costume jewelry collection will be sold exclusively at Endless.com through this year. The Kardashians Send Their Sexy Swimwear Down The Runway

Alexander Tamargo/WireImage

It hasn’t been easy keeping up with the Kardashian sisters this summer as Kim, Khloe and Kourtney tote their crew from L.A. to New York and most recently, Miami, where the girls caught a front row peek of their Kardashians for Beach Bunny Swimwear collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim. “All glammed up for Beach Bunny in Miami with Kourtney and Khloe,” Kim wrote on her official website Friday posting a picture of the girls backstage. And instead of catching the show from behind the curtains like most designers, the famous sisters took a seat in the coveted front row to watch as their sexy bikinis, one-pieces and loungewear were sent down the catwalk. “I was just in awe of everything on the runway,” said Khloe in a statement released by the swimwear brand, who rocked an on-trend leopard top and black skirt for the event. “Now we all need to work out a little bit harder to flaunt it,” joked Khloe, whose favorite look was a gun-metal one-piece with a low v-neck. So can we expect to see the sisters work their inner model next season? “We’ll see about modeling on the runway next!” said Kim. The looks can be purchased online now at beachbunnyswimwear.com. -Jessie Goldberg
