The City‘s Olivia Palermo may have made her mark as the reality TV show’s main villain, but it is her passion for fashion and impeccable New York City style that landed her on the cover of ASOS Magazine. “I just really love clothes. I think it has evolved as I’ve gotten older. I understand the industry a little better and I know what works for me and my personal style,” Olivia says in the August issue. “Recently, I’ve been taking dresses in my closet, vintage or from a previous season, and re-draping them, adding my own personal touch with a brooch or a belt. Reinventing them.” The 24 year old’s poise and sophisticated style is a testament to her interest in the world of fashion on- and off-the-runway — and what could be more inspiring than living in the Big Apple? “I constantly get inspired by people around me whether its art, buildings, it can be absolutely anything. I want to see what’s on the streets in every city and what’s in the trend for every city,” she says in a behind the scenes video of the shoot.
