Marc Jacobs and Boyfriend Lorenzo Martone Call it Quits

After much speculation in the fashion world, it appears that designer Marc Jacobs and boyfriend Lorenzo Martone have officially entered splitsville. Despite the couple’s much-publicized engagement in March 2009, Marc shot down marriage rumors last week while promoting his new mens fragrance Bang, telling British Vogue, “No, I am not getting married.” Lorenzo then promptly took to his Twitter on Friday, confirming the split. “We are not together, haven’t been in 2 months. And we will not comment on it. Sorry. We r fine,” Tweeted the Brazilian native. Reps for Jacobs declined to comment on the designer’s personal life. –Jessie Goldberg
