Love Carrie Underwood! So very happy for her…she looks like she’s on top of the world. They are a very cute couple.

The picture looks a litle blurry but it looks like it’s just like mine! Mine has 3 rows of diamonds…one along the center, like a normal band and then a line running along each side…the actual side of the ring, not next to the center line. If that makes sense. I’m so happy for her!

What are all of you commenting about? The photo is totally blurry, you can’t see anything, except that is platinum or white gold. You can’t even tell if there are diamonds. Why was this even published?

I don’t like the fact that she’s “selling” wedding photos though. I was very happy for them until I read that. To me, that is just TACKY and you really can’t tell if the marriage was real since they are selling a huge portion of it for MONEY. Sounds like they may have married for money since they’ve already sold a huge portion of it. Only struggling reality stars sell wedding photos, or, people who only marry for attention. I think it won’t last, don’t think it’s real.

Stars are funny. If you get married in Georgia and are taking a honeymoon in French Polynesia, is it really necessary to fly into LAX? Or do they feel they have to be seen by everyone and the papparazzi? If I was a star and just married, I would try to avoid everyone and share the moments after with as little people as possible. What a beautiful ring for a beautiful young woman. The big smiles on their faces show just how happy they are. From everything I’ve read about Mike, they are truly a match made in heaven, which is rare these days.

I have been checking and checking just hoping to see one picture of her in her wedding gown and so far nothing – but now someone says she is selling her wedding pictures. What – does this person think she and Mike need the money. I hardly think so. She has handled her whole wedding arrangements with class and secrecy to protect her special day – now why on earth would she then sell the pictures to her wedding. I dont know where that person read that – maybe the National Enquirer. We all know enough to believe everything that rag says. Why cant people just be happy for others. It speaks to their character I would say.

Carrie is a very classy lady and in my opinion Jessica Simpson is just a tramp. She had a great guy that she said she “waited” till they married but now look at her. Jumping from guy to guy. Ok we got the point they wanted privacy… BUT …people have contributed millions to her success and I am sure they would have liked feeling they were sharing in her day. Would it have been that hard to let her adoring public see even one photo of her in her gown after the wedding or even just the gown? The only reason I can think that she wouldn’t share it with the public is that it would have lowered the value of the ‘exclusive photos to come’. Shame on you Carrie…I think it was selfish not to allow the public a glimpse. Are they nosey-sure…were they shown appreciation-no. I think they have earned the right by supporting her so strongly. I am sure she will not be locking all those caring fans out of her next concert!

Hate to break it to you but when stars sell photographs of something like a wedding they don’t just share pictures to be published, they grant exclusive rights to the event. It’s not that other people don’t have pictures because the couple wants secrecy but rather because they’ve signed a contract with X magazine/publisher that the rights of pictures are exclusively for X.

Has anyone stop to think that the wedding pictures that Mike and Carrie might possibly sell could be for a very GENEROUS cause? THAT ALL THE PROFITS just might be going to a great charity like the the Dogs ADOPTION program that Carrie so generously supports or the Nashville Disaster Water program that she also has given so generously to. I do not know Carrie personally but I have always considered myself to be a good judge of character. I do not believe that Carrie would ever sell photos for her own profit and if you think that she would then you do not truly believe in her songs or in her talent or in her faith!!

I am a Senators fan, I am a very big Mike Fisher fan. I love Carrie Underwood. I was thrilled when they got engaged and I am very thrilled to see them get married. I hope they are happy for the rest of their lives together.

Actually I heard on the today show the portion with Koda and Kathy Lee. Kathy Lee wasn’t there today but a man was there talking about the celebrity weddings and he point blank said that EVERYONE had to check their phones at the door so that no one could get any pictures because she was SELLING the pictures to a magazine. I kid you not, she was the only celebrity of the bunch who actually sold wedding pictures. She’s been scouting them around all year looking for up to 2 million. Of course, no one is going to buy her pictures for 2 million dollars especially since she isn’t nearly as hot as she once was. She dropped off the Forbest celebrity 100 and everything so right now, she isn’t even considered an A list celebrity. Perhaps they have an over spending problem and need the money, sounds like they went waaaaay overboard from the engagement ring to booking an entire resort. I mean come on they might be rich but neither are making the money of people on the Celebrity 100. Beyonce didn’t do this type of thing. She privately got married without selling pictures. Now, Beyonce CAN AFFORD IT. She kept it simple and didn’t need to sell out to pay for it.

I am going to believe the selling of Carrie’s wedding pictures when it is from a reputable person – like herself and Mike. Why on earth would she have to sell her wedding pictures – someone said “overspending” on her part. Well Mike Fisher signed a 5 year contract last year for 18 million and I am sure she isnt poor and a 500,000.00 wedding is not extravagant by any means when it comes to celebrities. I would think that she wants to release the pictures that she chooses or if she is indeed selling them – it is like the sale of baby pictures – the money would go to a charity of some kind. And while I would love to see a picture of her in her dress too – she doesnt owe me staying back from her honeymoon so she can take care of that first and then going on the honeymoon. He will be starting hockey soon and she is on tour and again who says she owes us seeing her wedding album or a picture at all. It was “her” day – not ours. With her appreciation of her fans which is genuine we will see them when she is ready and I am sure she has a good reason for doing things the way she is doing them. God people – we dont own her just cause we love her and buy her albums. Being from Canada I know he is strong in faith and she is too and I know she does a lot of work in Africa – so let’s wait and pass judgement when we see what happens and for a change why cant everyone just be happy for them. They deserve it and she has never done anything to indicate she is a money grubbing person who needs 2 million dollars for her pictures. If I am wrong I will say I am wrong – but I would bet my last dollar that I am not.

Additionally, y’all need to get your facts straight before criticizing someone. A poster said that People “allegedly” paid $2 million for the pictures. We don’t know if that’s true or not. If the happy couple are able to control how their wedding photos are shared with the public (and you know one way or another, people are gonna get a hold of them), then why not be paid for them from a reputable magazine instead of some gossip tabloid like US, Ok, Star, etc. As for how much they are paid for them, that’s not any of our business or concern. If they are receiving a high sum, then for all we know, they’ll donate most, if not all, of it to charity. If they choose not to, again… not your concern.

Seems to me the security measures were warranted given how many journalists tried getting in. I remember when Madonna married Sean Penn and how the paparazzi crashed it. Considering the number of famous people attending, they deserve to have the comfort of knowing they can have a peaceful and private ceremony if they wish and provide some of their more high-profile guests a chance to relax and enjoy the day for what it’s meant to be without photographers all over the place.

I am happy for Carrie. She seems like a very nice person. My wish for her and her new husband is that they will have a very long and happy marriage. It won’t last. She has too much attitude to be a hockey wife. I’m sure she’s not going to be all into the charitable events that the hockey players are into. Also, she’ll probably have to give up her career. With 2 of them traveling for careers…it will last a hot minute.
