Evan Rachel Wood’s New Role: Face of Gucci Fragrance

Frazer Harrison/Getty

It looks like Gucci cologne frontman James Franco is about to meet his match. Evan Rachel Wood is joining the brand as its newest fragrance face, WWD reports. “I chose Evan Rachel Wood as she has very strong character,” Gucci creative director Frida Giannini tells the publication. “She’s young, but rising and [an] influential figure. I didn’t want to offer this project to someone overexposed or too well known. Instead, I wanted a fresh individual that would coincide with the image of the project.” And overexposure certainly isn’t a problem for the starlet, who keeps details of her private life, including her engagement to shock-rocker Marilyn Manson on the down-low. While details of the actress’s role with the brand are still being finalized, the partnership would mark her first fragrance deal. We think the combination of Evan Rachel Wood’s fiery hair and porcelain skin is certain to make an impact at Gucci. FIRST LOOK: ‘Glee’ and ‘Gossip Girl’ Stars Go ‘Back to College’ This Fall With Op

Larry Bartholomew

Glee‘s Cory Monteith and Dianna Agron may play high school students on TV, but along with Gossip Girl‘s Jessica Szohr, 90210‘s Trevor Donovan and R&B singer Cassie, they’ve been getting a taste of university life lately, starring in Op’s ‘Back To College’ campaign. In a follow-up to the juniors brand’s summer-BBQ-themed ads last spring, the same crew of fun-loving faces trade in their surfboards and hammocks for books and dorm rooms. Shot by photographer Larry Bartholomew on UCLA’s campus, the ads feature the cast snuggling on a couch at movie night, hanging out on campus, and goofing off in the hallway between classes–all dressed in Op’s on-trend looks. “I love the plaid shirts!,” said Agron, calling out her favorites. “All of the fall clothing from Op is perfect for hanging out on campus.” Look out for the fall ads in August, when they hit fashion magazines. ‘Hills’ Star Lo Bosworth: Spinning Her Way to Skinny

Courtesy Nivea

Ever wonder how The Hills‘ stars always manage to look pulled-together–even after a late night of partying? According to Lo Bosworth, practice makes perfect. “From the beginning, we always did [our hair and makeup] ourselves. Every girl on the show is now a pro,” the low-key Hills cast member told PEOPLE. The 23-year-old, who counts Armani foundation, Cle de Peau concealer and her Shu Uemura eyelash curler as her key beauty tools, even ventured to say, “We could probably start our own business [as makeup artists] and be very successful. A lot of that comes from working with professionals for red carpet events and photo shoots.” So, with the sixth and final season wrapped, how has Bosworth been spending her time? In addition to writing The Lo-Down, her relationship guide book due out in January, Bosworth has been sweating it out as the face of Nivea’s Goodbye Cellulite, Hello Bikini Challenge, a four-week program of amped-up fitness, healthy eating, skincare and style. “As far as fitness, I love indoor cycling–it has made a really big difference. I feel a lot skinnier than I did last year,” says the reality star of her favorite Equinox spin classes. “It’s kind of the ultimate cardio.” The instructor-led group setting is a major motivating factor for the star. “Because if I’m by myself, I go to the gym and do 15 reps,” she jokes. “And then I’m like, ‘Oh, my e-mail. I need to make a phone call.’” –Marissa Patlingrao Cooley; reporting by Katherine Kluznik Rentmeester

VIDEO: Camilla Belle Supports U.S. Troops with Her BFF Bracelet

Joining fellow entertainers America Ferrara and Jason Derulo, actress Camilla Belle is the latest famous fan of the “One 4 You, One 4 Me” bracelets, which give civilians a way to connect with U.S. troops. “I have pride for my country,” says the star in this PSA video in support of the BFF bracelets, a joint initiative by the American Freedom Foundation (AFF) and BFF Entertainment. Donning one of the minimalist leather bands, Belle explains, “It’s a symbol of my support for friends of the military serving our country.” Each of the bands comes engraved with a unique number, and when you register a specific bracelet, its matching pair is sent to an active military serviceman overseas, who you can connect with through the AFF’s online community. As a bonus, 25% of all sales from the accessory will be donated to the American Freedom Foundation (AFF), which supports members of the armed forces and their families. Check out www.bff.tv to buy one of the BFF bracelets ($10 per pair). –Marissa Patlingrao Cooley

Would You Wear Thigh-High Tights Like Shenae Grimes?

The Media Circuit/INF

From her sweet dresses to her striped sweaters, Shenae Grimes’ 90210 character, Annie Wilson, is the picture of all-American style, but in real-life, the starlet takes a riskier approach when it comes to fashion. Ditching her girl-next-door image, Shenae recently stepped out in lace-trimmed thigh-high tights paired with a black tunic dress and tough ankle boots while running errands in L.A. Thigh-highs and minis? We can’t help but remember another Beverly Hills fashionista who worked the look– Cher (played by Alicia Silverstone) from Clueless! Could the thigh-highs of the ’90s be coming back with a cool rock-star edge? Or is this just a fashion mishap? Tell us: Would you wear thigh-high like Shenae’s? Vote!Kara Murphy
