Mariah Carey Keeps It Sweet with Her New Scent, Lollipop Bling

06/18/2010 at 04:00 PM ET

Elizabeth Arden

If you didn’t already know just how sweet the marriage between Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon is, the stongstress’s newest signature scent is about to shine a spotlight on their Hollywood love-affair. The just-announced addition to her fragrance empire, Lollipop Bling, gives a nod to that magical moment when her man ring-popped the question. “The inspiration for Lollipop Bling was Nick’s marriage proposal to me,” she says in a release. “He first surprised me with a ring-pop — romantic, fun and young-at-heart — like me!” Nick even sweetened the deal on the couple’s second anniversary last month, presenting his bride with a custom-designed ring-pop sparkler encrusted with white diamonds and pink sapphires. Mariah’s sugary trio of Elizabeth Arden fragrances, which are being produced in partnership with Topps Candy Company, will launch next month in bright butterfly-topped bottles. Mine Again will include notes of chocolate and raspberry. Ribbon will feature blue raspberry. Honey will be a tropical pineapple infusion. And they’ll have a sweet price to match their inspiration, selling at $35 for each 1-oz. bottle. Tell us: Will you buy Mariah’s Lollipop Bling? –Katherine Kluznik Rentmeester

Mariah is a mess and she needs to go away with her picture from 13 years ago that was photo shop then also

That add looks like it is targeted to 12 year olds…..which figures, since she is married to one….oh, did I say that out loud?

To Marianna on June 18th, 2010:

Who cares about a name? You should care how it SMELLS. And, if you were familiar at all about the fragrance trend of the last decade, you’d know that most women love sweet, sugary scents. Aquolina’s Pink Sugar, Jaqua Girls, and Demeter are just to name a few….

I confess I have never tried her scents but am very interested now. I have a lot of trouble finding the right scents that don’t seem over-powering and “perfumey”. These sound really nice!

I am interested, esp if it smells tropical & not overpowering.
And gonna be 41 next week myself…where does it say getting older means rolling over & playing dead – esp if some of us look a decade younger than we are???
**to those making snide comments about age, remember that will be you someday.
Let’s see if you go around wanting to look like a serious old prude with a stick up your ass.
One life..make the most of it!
Mariah’s got that right!
