Johnny Weir’s Pink Mullet Inspiration: ‘Sex and the City 2′!

Rob Kim/Retna

Some people have mood rings, Johnny Weir prefers mood hair. After posting a picture of his colorful new do via Twitter last week, the Olympic skater has revealed the inspiration of his latest look: Sex and the City 2! “The book is pink, the game is pink, I’ve [even] got [pink] make-up on myself,” he told PEOPLE at the film’s world premiere Monday night at New York’s Radio City Music Hall. But it looks like the rosy hue will be around for about as long as one of Samantha’s boyfriends. “It’s just for [the premiere]. I’ll change it next week. I’m going baby blue — you heard it here first!” As for the SATC girl he relates to most, the fan has a little trouble choosing. “I think of myself as a Carrie but everyone thinks they’re a Carrie. I have a lot of Charlotte in me, I’m very uptight in many ways, and I’ve got some Samantha in me too though.” –Shruti Dhalwala

At last night’s premiere of Sex and the City 2 at N.Y.C.’s Radio City Music Hall, the only thing fans were more excited to see than the always-daring fashion choices in the movie were what its four stars were going to rock on the red carpet. And the ladies didn’t disappoint: Sarah Jessica Parker donned a diaphanous one-shoulder canary-yellow gown by Valentino, while Kristin Davis was pretty in pink, wearing a floor-length fuchsia strapless dress by Jean Desses from vintage boutique Decades. Kim Cattrall glowed in a golden Naeem Khan dress with a dramatic plunging neckline, and Cynthia Nixon went classic in a black strapless Carolina Herrera with a sweetheart neckline. VOTE: Which Was Kate Beckinsale’s Best Red Carpet Look at Cannes?

Joel Ryan/AP; KCSPresse/Splash News Online; Rex US

The 63rd Annual Cannes Film Festival may have pulled in stylish stars from Salma Hayek to Cate Blanchett to Naomi Watts, but no one could quite match actress and film festival juror Kate Beckinsale for sheer quantity of glam looks. The busy brunette bombshell donned many frocks, from chic day dresses to all-out, over-the-top gowns, but we somehow managed to narrow down her red carpet looks to four favorites. The British actress gave French fans a taste of what was to come when she stepped out opening night in a frothy pale-blue tulle Marchesa dress for the premiere of Robin Hood. A few days later, she got cameras flashing again at the Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps screening in an antique-white gown with silver beading detail from Gucci Première. The following week, at the premiere of Spanish film Biutiful, Beckinsale turned up the heat in a black sequined Balmain dress with a gold studded belt and thigh-high slit that revealed plenty of leg. For her fashion finale, the 36-year-old star opted for Nina Ricci, donning a strapless black tiered gown from the designer to close the Cannes Film Festival. With so many stunning red carpet appearances, it’s tough to decide which of Beckinsale’s styles worked best. Tell us: Which was your favorite look from Kate Beckinsale at Cannes? VIDEO: Kylie Minogue Works Her Magic On Tous Jewels

Kylie Minogue has literally been working some magic as the face of Tous, posing as the the wand-waving, retro pin-up star of the Spanish jewelry brand’s latest campaign, shot by famed fashion photographer Ellen von Unwerth. In this new short video counterpart to the print ads, the Aussie pop star pays homage to ’50s Parisian cabaret, performing magic tricks for an audience dressed in a top-hat, vest, tap pants–and, of course, jewelry from Tous. The singer pulls a rabbit out of a hat and waves her her magic wand to make a handkerchief disappear, before making a shiny pink bauble from Tous’ spring collection appear out of thin air! Real Housewife of New Jersey Dina Manzo Dishes on Her Red Streak

Micheal Greco

Johnny Weir isn’t the only star rocking bold highlights. Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dina Manzo recently added a striking scarlet streak to her platinum locks — all to help children with cancer. The Bravo star, who founded The Project Ladybug Fund at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Paterson, New Jersey to help enrich the lives of seriously ill pediatric patients and their families, has teamed with SHE Hair Extensions by SO. CAP USA to launch the Lucky Locks campaign. “I wanted to do something fun for fans to show their support of Project Ladybug and decided there was no better way than to wear Ladybug colors, which is why I made the extensions red,” Dina tells PEOPLE exclusively about her new red-hot streaks. “The best part is that people will always ask other people why they have a red streak in their hair… It has really helped spread awareness for our cause!” From now until June 30, Dina’s Lucky Locks will be available for $10 at participating salons or online at LuckyLocks.org. All donations will be used to build a playground for patients on the grounds of St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital. For more information visit ProjectLadyBug.com. –Andrea DeSimone

Lea Michele on Skipping Plastic Surgery and Loving Her Looks

James White/Women’s Health

Glee‘s Lea Michele may play a teenage drama queen, but she witnessed her own share of adolescent body angst long before she walked the halls of McKinley High on the hit TV show. The 23-year-old Tenafly, New Jersey native was, in fact, “the only girl in my high school class not to get a nose job,” reveals the actress in the June issue of Women’s Health. And even though the svelte cover girl has adopted a Zen-like attitude about her looks, the actress admits she’s still not totally immune to insecurities–especially living in L.A. “I love myself, the way I look, my body, but sometimes I can’t help but feel insecure here. It plays with your head,” admits the Broadway veteran, who counteracts the pressure-cooker aspects of Hollywood life with dedicated “me-time.” A committed vegan, the starlet–who keeps trim by working out with health counselor Devon Butler, hiking in L.A.’s Runyon Canyon, and rehearsing Glee‘s elaborate dance routines–credits the book Skinny Bitch with her conversion to a dairy- and meat-free lifestyle. “It slapped me in the face,” she says.“My idea of heaven used to be relaxing at home with a cheese plate and champagne.” For more on Lea, pick up the June issue of Women’s Health, or visit womenshealthmag.com. –Marissa Patlingrao Cooley
