Bye-Bye Brown Hair! Lindsay Lohan Goes Back to Blonde

X Posure

The old saying goes that blondes have more fun. Perhaps that’s what Lindsay Lohan was counting on when she said goodbye to her raven-colored hair and reverted back to golden tresses this week. The newly towheaded starlet-cum-designer–who was recently ordered to wear an alcohol-monitoring ankle bracelet after failing to appear in court on Thursday–sported similar buttery waves three years ago, around the same time she voluntarily wore another SCRAM ankle bracelet. Coincidence? We can’t be sure, but if the 23-year-old’s gone blonde for a little pick-me-up amid troubled times, she does seem to be enjoying her new do. Tell us: Do you like Lindsay Lohan’s new blonde locks? Kylie Minogue Trades Botox for Cold Cream, Skyrocketing Sales of Pond’s

Brian Zak/Sipa

Pop star Kylie Minogue recently joined the ranks of a growing group of stars owning up to a little out-patient beauty help with her admission over the weekend that “Yes, I’ve used Botox.” But it’s the singer’s surprisingly old-school replacement that’s causing a stir: “I’m embracing my age and now my only secret is Pond’s Cream,” she told British paper News of the World on Sunday of going needle-free. “I use it every day. It’s all I really use to look after my skin.” And these words have been making waves across the pond in the form of skyrocketing demand for the product. In what’s being dubbed ‘The Kylie Effect’, sales of Pond’s Cold Cream in the U.K. quadrupled in less than 36 hours since her revelation, brand reps confirm to PEOPLE. And the century-old company is scrambling to order more stock to meet the newfound demand for Kylie’s favorite, which sells for $4 for a 3.5 oz. jar in the U.S. — get your own at drugstore.com.–Katherine Kluznik Rentmeester

Premiere or Party: Which Sarah Jessica Parker Dress Do You Like Better?

Evan Agostini/PictureGroup; Richie Buxo/Splash News Online

Why limit yourself to one fabulous outfit when you can wear two? Luckily Sarah Jessica Parker followed that style logic equation and treated us to a glamorous costume change Monday night. For the Sex and the City 2 world premiere at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall, the stylish star stepped out in a bright yellow Valentino gown, accessorized with VBH and Fred Leighton jewels and silver satin double-platform pumps by Salvatore Ferragamo. Just hours later, she reappeared at the after-party at Lincoln Center in a lacy long-sleeved cocktail dress by Elie Saab, Kimberly McDonald geode cuffs and Nicholas Kirkwood peep-toe heels. We love the ultra-glam factor of a mid-evening wardrobe change, but with two dresses as different as night and day, it’s tough to decide which style best captured the high-fashion spirit of the event. Tell us: Which of Sarah Jessica Parker’s premiere-night looks do you prefer? Vote! –Marissa Patlingrao Cooley

Eva Longoria Parker Leaves the Fashion Risks to Pal Victoria Beckham

Mathew Imaging/WireImage

When it comes to personal style, Eva Longoria Parker leaves high-fashion experimentation to her more adventurous friends. “I’m classic–which means boring,” joked Longoria Parker to PEOPLE last night at the Soho House in West Hollywood, where she was celebrating the launch of the LG Fashion Touch, for which she and pal Victoria Beckham designed mobile phones. “[Victoria's] the crazy, bold, edgy one and takes fashion risks I don’t usually take. I like a classic dress, a classic line, classic colors. I mean, I’m pretty simple,” said the Reem Acra-clad Desperate Housewives star, who had a blast working on the LG commercial with her old friend Posh. “She is incredibly funny, so that makes it easy. All her kids and the dogs were there, and we always have a lot of fun.” Added Beckham, “We’ve known each other for a long time. We laughed–we really, really laughed.” Dressed in a leg-baring strapless mini from her own fashion label, Posh was squired for the evening by her eldest son Brooklyn, who looked dapper himself in a pink buttondown, cream cable-knit sweater and dark jeans. “He is always very, very stylish,” said Victoria, who noted that the whole family has a flair for fashion. “They all have natural style and love fashion. I mean, David is so handsome, and he has such amazing sense of style, I don’t think he could learn much from me.” To check out the new phones, available online now, go to sprint.com or visit a Sprint retailer.–Marissa Patlingrao Cooley; reporting by Michelle Ward

Patricia Field on ‘Sex and the City 2′ Style: “Hollywood Glamour Meets Aladdin”

New Line Cinema

Asking Sex and the City 2 wonder-stylist Patricia Field to choose her favorite look from the latest film seems to be akin to asking a mother to pick a favorite child. “They’re all so pretty, I really can’t,” she admitted to PEOPLE at Monday night’s world premiere at New York’s Radio City Music Hall. “I love the way everything looks in this movie.” And while she stayed true to the unique style of each of the characters, she did use the foursome’s trip to the Middle East as a chance to mix things up. “I changed as they got to the Middle East on this fabulous vacation and packed a little bit of clothes because they are guests of a Sheikh and living in a palace with butlers, and limos, and private planes,” she explains. “Lots of diaphanous chiffons, color, long, moving, very Hollywood glamour meets Aladdin!” As for the ladies who want a chance at Carrie Bradshaw’s enviable attire, the pro offers some words of style-wisdom: “Carrie is great, but Carrie is just an example of how you can have your own style. Think of who you are and what you want to look like and things that you like and don’t be afraid. Follow your heart, follow your art, don’t look around, and don’t worry about it.” Tutu, anyone? –Shruti Dhalwala

The Scoop on ‘Glee’ Going Gaga With Costumes

Adam Rose/FOX

Glee fans, get ready to go Gaga! Following in the footsteps of Glee‘s Madonna-inspired episode, tonight ‘s show will not only remake Lady Gaga’s greatest pop hits like “Bad Romance” and “Poker Face,” but will also showcase the best of the chanteuse’s signature styles. “This episode is a tribute to her genius,” Lou Eyrich, costumer for the show, dishes to InStyle.com. “The costumes are not replicas; we wanted it [to] look like the kids made them.” So what will the cast wear? “Rachel [Lea Michele] wears two outfits,” Eyrich tells InStyle. “The first is inspired by Gaga’s Kermit the Frog dress: She goes through her stuffed animals at home and staples all of them to her dress. The second is like the dress Gaga wore with the big silver mirrored triangle.” As for Gaga’s memorable bubble dress? “It was really heavy,” Eyrich admits of Tina’s outfit. “And it made a lot of noise.” Though all wardrobe items were designed to have a handmade look and feel, Eyrich says that she didn’t even attempt to recreate Alexander McQueen’s 10-inch ‘Armadillo’ platforms. “I’m a huge McQueen fan so I wanted to do them justice,” Eyrich says. “We tried to buy them [for Kurt (Chris Colfer)], but we would have needed a woman’s size 13. They don’t make them that big.” To see all of the stellar outfits, watch Glee tonight on Fox at 9/8c or check out InStyle.com for more information. –David Yi
