Is Rihanna Borrowing Justin Bieber’s Style?

When it comes to fashion, Rihanna is usually more trendsetter than follower, but lately the pop star seems to be taking her fashion cues from her A-list friends. On Monday, she took to the stage at London’s O2 Arena in a sweeping light up dress that reminded us of the battery-operated gown that her gal pal Katy Perry donned to the Met Gala last week. Now, the singing sensation appears to be copying pal Justin Bieber’s style swagger. The singer was spotted leaving London restaurant Cipriani Wednesday night, donning a baggy black sweater and a bright neon flip cap–not to mention a styled coif that looked strangely familiar. This, just a few months after teenage heartthrob Justin Bieber sported a similar outfit–baggy sweatshirt, matching fitted cap and hair swoosh–while traveling to New York. It could just be coincidence that both stars have stepped out in near-identical outfits, but we can’t help but wonder if Rihanna is paying homage to her friends or taking a break from setting the trends. Rihanna needs a fashion makeover.

I would like to say that i love them both an the hair style is crazy in a goog way. But Rihanna has rocked so many wonderful stlyles that i dont think she tryin to looklike Justin Bieber. I seen her rock that style before he appeared in the publix on one of her cover girl comercial it was just a solid color.

I know this isn’t anything really important I am commenting on but here goes – what I truly thing for those who care – I think that style looks really really ridiculous. A 16 year old looks bad enough, but I hate it on Rihanna. Mind you, I saw her with worse – the other day her bangs were intentionally over her eyes – it looked moronic. As for stealing his style…come on, just about every hair style has been done within the last decade, and she has worn that style before. She is a pretty girl but I don’t get the appeal of looking juvenile. And as for Justin…I don’t get his appeal at all, but than again…I’m not a little girl.

ummm this is not the first time rihanna has had this look. she wears stuff like this all the time, baggy sweatshirts, hats like that, boots with the laces untied. i think she looks cute!

I don’t think Rihanna’s copying anybody. This girl has always had different looks. Now I’m not
saying I like them all but she’s not one to copy,

Is this really what we are commenting on today? I sure wish there was an actual topic to make a real opinion on! But since I am a faithful reader/commenter I will say that she is not copying anyone. That look was around b4 that Justin kid was even born! Does it look good on her? Not really, but I guess when you are required to dress up all the time for all that you do then dressing down like that is probably a relief!

She needs to copy someone’s looks. I have not seen this girl in anything decent in months. She looks like a rag picker. Nothing is trendy,sexy or stylish. She just hasn’t pulled off anything WOW! She needs to go high fashion she’s beautiful has a great body she ought to wear something that reflects that. Sometimes funky,quirky whatever don’t work and it’s not!
