It’s All About Bags and Shoes for Halle, Gwen, Kate and More Celebrating Tod’s

Jon Kopaloff/FilmMagic

Hollywood’s leading ladies including Halle Berry, Gwen Stefani, Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Alba arrived in style at the grand opening of Tod’s new boutique in Beverly Hills. “Who doesn’t love a bag and shoes?!,’” Beckinsale exclaimed to PEOPLE, “That’s kind of the beginning of everything.” Stefani (gorgeous in Vivienne Westwood) chatted with BFF, Beckinsale and husband Gavin Rossdale in the store’s third-floor showroom, which was transformed into a lounge reminiscent of a 1940s supper club. A dapper-looking Pierce Brosnan, who came with wife, Keely, shared a laugh with Berry, his Die Another Day Bond girl while Kate Bosworth mingled with pals and browsed Tod’s newest collection. Also enjoying a night out was a glowing Jessica Capshaw, who received congratulations on her pregnancy from guests throughout the night. A classic brand, Tod’s received raves for their timeless accessories. Anjelica Huston said of the shoes, “I love Tod’s because they are easy and comfortable and you can even put on a 6-in. heel like I probably have on tonight and still be comfortable.” Camille Belle added, “I have a bag [which is] the most beautiful plum color that I love and I’ve had for a really long time.” However, the evening wasn’t all about the ladies. Neil Patrick Harris and boyfriend David Burtka sipped white wine on the terrace while James Marsden enjoyed a date night with his wife. Of his fashion sense Marsden said, “I‘m sort of into classic. I get scared when things get a little too forward thinking and innovative.”–Michelle Ward

Kim Kardashian’s Photoshop-Free Nude Shoot

Amanda de Cadenet/Harper’s Bazaar

Following in the footsteps of Jessica Simpson‘s makeup-free Marie Claire cover, Kim Kardashian is baring her famous assets in an all-natural, unretouched photo spread for Harper’s Bazaar. Though her curves have become just as notorious as her dating life, Kim doesn’t see what all the commotion is about. “I don’t get why everyone is always going on about my butt,” says Kim. “I’m Armenian. It’s normal. My butt is probably not as big as you might think, because I have small legs and a small waist, which makes it appear bigger.” In fact, growing up, it wasn’t her notorious behind that caused Kim concern. “I was wearing a C cup by the time I was 11,” the star recalls. “I would go to bed and pray, ‘Please, Lord, don’t let my boobs grow any bigger.’ I hated what was happening.” Now, Kim hopes her confidence can empower other curvy ladies. “The message [of this shoot] is embrace your curves and who you are. I feel proud if young girls look up to me and say, ‘I’m curvy, and I’m proud of it now.’” The other star who bared all for the retouching-free shoot, shot by Amanda de Cadenet, is former model Joy Bryant. 24 Hour Party People: Claire, Selma, Maggie and More Celebrate Zac Posen’s Pop-up

Moises De Pena/Getty

Arriving with Selma Blair on one arm and Claire Danes on the other, designer Zac Posen was ready to kick off the 24 hour shopping party in midtown Manhattan celebrating his collaboration with Target. From Maggie Gyllenhaal, Mena Suvari, and Michelle Trachtenberg to reality stars Kelly Bensimon and Olivia Palermo, fashionable New Yorkers got the chance to shop the collection before it hits Target stores and Target.com on April 25. “This has been my goal since the beginning of my company, which was to create a brand that worked on a diversity of women’s body types and diversity of races,” he enthused.  “To affect real women’s lives [is] really just a visceral thing about women looking beautiful, feeling good, having an adventure, and being creative themselves.”  Pal Blair certainly thinks that Posen has achieved his goal.  “I feel so lucky that I know Zac and get to have it because this line would be sold out in an hour,” Selma told PEOPLE. “I mean, it’s amazing, I would wear all of it. I don’t view it as a lesser line.  I just view it as a more accessible line.”  The collection, which Posen says is inspired by “the best summer of a girl’s life,” features everything from casual, bright tops to a sleek suit combo, pleated skirts, and even iconic Posen brocade–-available as both a skirt and a dress. “His sensibility is young, it’s modern, it’s playful, it’s very New York,” said actress Ginnifer Goodwin. As for advice to dressing on a budget, Sex and the City stylist Patricia Field offered some wisdom: “Style doesn’t cost money–it just takes a little thought.”  Luckily, looks like Zac has done the thinking for us. Zac Posen for Target is available at Target stores nationwide and target.com on April 25. –Shruti Dhalwala

Confirmed: Jennifer Aniston to Launch Signature Fragrance Lolavie!

Fernando Allende/Broadimage

Brace yourselves, Jennifer Aniston fans–following months of buzz, the actress has announced that she will indeed be launching her first ever fragrance. “It’s been a year-and-a-half journey,” Aniston told WWD. “I’d been asked to do things before, and it never felt organic. But when Leon [Falic, president of the Falic Fashion Group] approached me to be involved with the process from inception to fruition, I thought, ‘This could be a creative expression.’” Aniston describes the end product, named Lolavie, as “a nonperfume perfume.” And while specific fragrance notes have yet to be released, one thing is certain, it will be a lighter take than her childhood introduction to scent. “The first perfumes I ever wore were Miss Dior and Anais Anais,” she says. “My mother wore Calèche and my grandmother used a body splash that came in a big yellow jug that she kept by the bathtub. Those were very strong scents. Now I am not a big perfume-y fragrance fan.” So what does she want her scent evoke? “I want people to go, ‘What is that? You smell great!’ But most of all I wanted it to smell natural,” she says. American fans will have to pull out their passports to get a first sniff of Lolavie, which will launch in the U.K. at Harrods in June starting at around $47 for a 50-ml. bottle, or wait for the as yet undetermined U.S. distribution that will follow.
