Jennifer Aniston: ‘You’re Not Taking Away My Coffee Or My Glass of Wine’

Some indulgences in life are just non-negotiable. At least that’s how Harper’s Bazaar UK cover girl Jennifer Aniston feels. “Look, I eat really well and I work out, but I also indulge when I want to,” says the actress in the May issue. “You’re not taking away my coffee or my dairy or my glass of wine because I’d be devastated. My advice: just stop eating s— every day.” The star of The Bounty Hunter, who just celebrated her 41st birthday, hints that it may be the dawning of a new day. “The last five years have been about spring-cleaning for me. Now it’s time for my rebirth. I love to try new things. I can’t just be put in a box.” Among her new ventures is a signature fragrance. “I’d been asked to put my name to many [fragrances], but I wanted to be involved in the process, from the initial idea of the scent to the ad campaign with Mario Sorrenti,” she explains. And that might not be her only new project, she implies, saying, “I love what Drew Barrymore is doing with directing…I hate it when people look back and regret what they haven’t got.” Still, she’s adopted the if-it-ain’t-broke philosophy with her fashion choices. “I’ve got a good team [of stylists], and I always check–is the dress tugging? How do I feel about bending? Can I sit around in it?” And she knows her own style limits, joking, “I don’t think I’d look good in some stuff that Lady Gaga has graced us with.” The full feature, shot by Alexi Lubomirski, appears in the May issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK, on sale Thursday, April 1. – Marissa Patlingrao Cooley

Andie MacDowell: ‘I’m Better Off With 5 Extra Pounds!’

Courtesy Prevention

Most people–famous or not–would rather not broadcast their real weight. But in this month’s issue of Prevention, May cover girl Andie MacDowell not only divulges the actual number on her scale, she also admits that she’s better off heavier! “Right now, I’m about 137 to 138 pounds, and I feel pretty good about it,” says the five-foot-eight actress, who’s been the spokesmodel for L’Oréal Paris for 25 years. ”As you get older, your face starts to look drawn–that’s why I think I’m better off with those extra 5 pounds.” The 52-year-old mother-of-three–who modeled for Vogue and Calvin Klein in the ’80s–keeps fit with yoga and regular hikes near her North Carolina home. And she looks as stunning as ever–especially for someone whose youngest daughter was old enough to go through drivers’ ed this year. “My perspective has changed so much,” says MacDowell. “Sure, I want to be attractive, but it’s not my top priority.” To hear more from Andie, pick up a copy of the May issue of Prevention which hits newsstands on April 6. —Marissa Patlingrao Cooley

Jennifer Hudson Is the New Face–and Body!–of Weight Watchers

The secret behind Jennifer Hudson‘s amazing body after baby? Weight Watchers! In fact, the new mom revealed she’s the new spokesperson for the company today. “With Weight Watchers, I am enjoying the weight loss because I’m doing it the right way–I feel empowered with what I’ve learned, everything from portion control to what foods will help keep me satisfied,” says the 28-year-old. “It’s a lifestyle change, not a diet.” The Oscar-winning actress-singer, who has a 7-month-old son, David Daniel Otunga Jr., with her fiancé David Otunga, 28–also likes how the diet fits into her busy lifestyle. “I can follow the plan no matter where I am, still enjoy my favorite foods and even use the iPhone app to track my points,” she says. Hudson is no stranger to publicly discussing her weight: After being called “the big girl” as a contestant on American Idol, the singer transformed her body for her Oscar-winning turn as Effie in Dreamgirls by packing on more than 20 lbs. with a diet of “cakes and cookies and lots of fried food,” she told PEOPLE. She later lost the weight for the premiere of the film. Celebrities who have represented Weight Watchers in the past include Jenny McCarthy, Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson, and Lynn Redgrave.–Michelle Tan
