From Beach Babes to Bikini Designers–the Kardashians Launch Swimwear!

When the Kardashian sisters aren’t glamming it up at a Hollywood party, the sexy trio can usually be found flaunting their famous curves on Miami Beach. So it comes as no surprise that their next design project involves bikins. Kim, Kourtney and Khloe have teamed up with L.A. label Beach Bunny Swimwear to design a collection of sexy suits that flatter their individual body types and mirror their different personalities. The fledgling swimsuit designers–the sisters created two styles each–were on hand for the grand opening of Beach Bunny’s Robertson Boulevard flagship store in Hollywood Tuesday night, where they showed off their latest handiwork. Kim’s itty bitty bikinis feature gold hardware and tiny side-ties because, she said, “[I] love getting glam and dressed up when [I] go to the beach and because [side-ties] fit my body type the best.” Khloe, in turn, gave her designs an exotic touch, incorporating animal prints for a “sexy and fun” vibe, while new mom Kourtney put function over fashion when she conceived an “amazing bikini that is super easy to wear, but has extra support on top–since I now have that issue.” Available starting May 10 at beachbunnyswimwear.com (and retailing for $175 and under), the collection will no doubt be modeled by the sisters this summer–accessorized with jewels from their Virgin, Saints and Angels line, of course!
