SNEAK PEEK: ‘Gossip Girl’ and ‘Glee’ Stars ‘Shine’ in New Op Campaign

How did Gossip Girl‘s Vanessa Abrams find herself in a cuddle puddle with Glee clubbers Finn Hudson and Quinn Fabray? The trio–Jessica Szohr, Cory Monteith and Dianna Agron–are starring in this spring’s upcoming ad campaign for juniors clothing brand Op, along with R&B singer Cassie, 90210‘s Trevor Donovan, and Alex Meraz of The Twilight Saga: New Moon and Eclipse. The “Rock Your Shine” campaign, shot by photographer Larry Bartholomew, is set at an imagined summer block party, and features the young stars lounging in a hammock, barbecuing, and getting ready to head out surfing, all while wearing sexy and sweet beach-ready pieces. “The clothes are so great; especially the amazing bikinis and shorts,” says Szohr of her favorite pieces from the line, which is available exclusively at Walmart. And if it looks like they’re having fun, it’s because they are: Says Dari Marder, Chief Marketing Officer of Iconix Brand Group, which produced the collection, “The cast had a blast, since some of them were already great friends, and even co-stars. Jessica Szhor is beautiful. Corey Monteith is cute, but he needs to graduate from high school (he dropped out). As for the rest of the stars…they are all B-list.

seriously people, it’s a campaign for WALMART! What do you expect? I’m a Glee fan, but have NO idea who anyone else is. But the add looks great, and the clothes look fun and casual.

Cory Monteith – The funny tall guy who I’d LOVE to be BFFS with..
Alex Meraz – The guy who could easily get me to meet Taylor Lautner if we were buddies… :P
Dianna Agron – Well, she could get me to meet ummm… The Glee cast..???
Trevor Donovan – He’s just HOT. Love him on 90210!!

Hmm. Sarah Maven. How can you say you went to high school with Cory, when he dropped out at age 14?

And I don’t know any of these people except for the awesome Cory Monteith and Dianna Agron from Glee. And I totally forgive them for doing this campaign because this was shot back in December before Glee really took off with their Golden Globe and SAG wins, etc.
