Nicole Richie’s Wedding Dress: “I Haven’t Even Thought About It!”

Almost as soon as Nicole Richie and Joel Madden announced their engagement back in February, rumors began to swirl over who would design her wedding dress. When the fashionista turned up at the Marchesa presentation during New York Fashion Week, it seemed like a done deal that she would be walking down the aisle in a creation by the brand’s creative director Georgina Chapman. Then rumors began that she would be going with another red carpet favorite, Monique Lhuiller. But, despite constant speculation, Nicole is still as clueless as we are! “I have not decided on a dress,” she told InStyle.com Wednesday night at a Missoni bash in Beverly Hills. “I haven’t even thought about it!” And with the recent launch of Winter Kate and two young kids, it’s no wonder the star hasn’t had a moment to focus on the dress. We can’t wait to see what Nicole will pick. Tell us: Which designer do you think Nicole should wear for her walk down the aisle?

Nicole should design her own wedding dress. She has 2 labels, and she knows what she likes…The bride wore a gown from the House of Harlow…sounds great!

Talk about woman who’s turned herself around!! From her “idle rich, do-nothing” days of BFF with Paris Hilton to a level-headed and loving mother and business woman. I’m impressed. As for her wedding dress, I’m partial to Monique Lhiller but she look beautiful in anything she wears. Atta girl

Is it just me or is she still incredibly thin. i realize some ladies have differently built frames but I wince a little when i see her arms they look like broomsticks and she’s had 2 children and I just thought maybe she’d fill out a little more like on The Simple Life she was not so skinny “chic” then.I mean I dig the Boho look but 10 pounds can’t hurt. Anyway congrats and wish you health and happiness.

It’s admirable that Nicole Richie has turned her life around and made positive changes. However, in terms of fashion, she always looks homely and hungry– not cute. Hopefully she will hire a stylist to assist her in picking out out a wedding gown— she has a beautiful face and a lot of potential.

Nicole Richie just doesn’t seem like a Marchesa type to me, but with her clout, I suppose she could work directly with Georgina Chapman and design something truly unique. I am with some other posters – I think she knows her style better than anyone and should create her own dress. At least then she’ll know it really is one-of-a-kind!
