Lindsay Lohan “Not Involved” in Latest Ungaro Collection

Guibbaud Christophe/Abaca

It looks like Lindsay Lohan might have a little more time to focus exclusively on her 6126 line of leggings and apparel in the days ahead. After months of tumult over her appointment as the artistic advisor for Emanuel Ungaro — and one not well-received runway show — the unlikely team appears to have parted ways. The actress was not present at the Ungaro fashion show today during Paris Fashion Week, and the brand’s owner Asim Abdullah told WWD backstage, “She’s not involved in this collection,” while declining to comment further. The actress quickly went from describing her catwalk debut as “pretty much a fairytale” to being bashed in the design world, even incurring the ire of the brand’s respected namesake founder, who deemed her first and maybe only collection for his former house “a disaster.” Tell us: What do you think of Lindsay’s possible departure from Ungaro?–Katherine Kluznik Rentmeester

really? this is shocking?? REALLY????

Excellent news. Ungaro deserves better; And the customers deserve top notch trendsetting designs. The bottom line is: The Lohan name doesn’t equate with ‘quality.’

Not surprised at all. Lindsay has as much fashion sense as Kermit the frog, her being hired as a fashion advisor was stupid in the first place.

quit being so hard on the girl. it is doubtful you could come up with a fashion line. She did not actually do anything wrong and if there was a problem with any design they could have said ‘ ok this is not what we were thinking’ and had her go back and redo some stuff.

Thank God !!!

I think Lindsay’s possible departure? from Ungaro is not at all surprising! This girl can’t design!

To the poster below defending her:

It’s not about US designing anything. It’s about HER knowing what she’s doing. It was her job. Obviously it wasn’t ‘small’ things either. It’s obvious they were having trouble with her. Maybe they can find someone this time around that actually knows fashion.

Oh..um…maybe she is a ‘no talent’?

What needs to be done is to STOP talking about this TRAINWRECK! She is not worth any of the press that she is getting. A spoiled, over-paid, less than talented “actress” (using that term loosely) really needs to stop grasping for attention. She is a nobody and will always be; she lost that chance eons ago. Do us all a favor those in the media – do not mention her name for a week and talk about something with more substance (meaning something that is not snorted nor drank) and has meaning/significance to life. (Take note – her name was not mentioned once in this response – that was pretty darn easy!)

The whole situation is a bit sad. Granted, she is responsible for her problems but at one time she was a talented actress. If she could just get her act together, stop the drinking, drugs and partying maybe she can get her act back together.
