Much in the way that Mary J. Blige’s R&B tracks have empowered women for years, her new non-profit line of T-shirts emblazoned with hand-written messages like, “I’m Free” and “I’m Power” made with in conjunction with fashion designer pal Catherine Malandrino aspires to do the same. The collection, called FFAWN + Malandrino, will benefit the singer’s charity, Foundation for the Achievement of Women Now, an organization that she launched in 2008 to help underprivileged women. “Catherine has been a dear friend of mine for years and, after she learned about FFAWN and our mission, she offered to create a T-shirt collection that would celebrate being women, being strong and being free,” Blige tells WWD, adding, “Even better, every woman can feel beautiful and comfortable rocking these tees just about anywhere.” For her part, Malandrino, who also recently accepted a position on FFAWN’s board of directors along with the likes of Jay-Z, explains, “These are not your average T-shirts.” The new range of black and white off-the-shoulder tunics will retail starting at $39 and will debut on Feb. 17 at Malandrino boutiques and at Bloomingdale’s stores nationwide. As of right now the shirts can only be found in Bloomingdales NYC. They not available on-line or any where!!!! I would love to have both shirts and may need to take a day trip to get them. Happy findings

Hi Natalie,It is hard to go during lunch or arfetwork! I dred it and I am exhausted many times, but I always feel better after. I once heard a quote you never leave a workout feeling worse. So I try to channel any exhaustion or frustration into the workout. It also helps to have workout dates. yesterday for example, I went to the gym on my lunch hour with a friend, but you only have time for a mini workout during lunch, so I made plans with another friend to go after class. By 7:45 I was tired, cranky and didn’t really want to go, but I was happy that I had already made the commitment. So I got to relieve stress for another 40 minutes and headed home happy I went. If I have a really intense workout late at night it is hard to wind down, so plan accordingly!
