EXCLUSIVE: Kim Kardashian’s Sexy New Fragrance Ad Revealed

Courtesy Lighthouse Beauty

Since Kim Kardashian first broke the news that she’d be creating a signature scent a-year-and-a-half ago, the reality star has kept us guessing about exactly what the fragrance would be like. But today she finally unveils a sizzling new campaign for the eponymous scent developed with Lighthouse Beauty exclusively to PEOPLE. Dressed in retro lingerie and a marabou coat, Kim swings from a circle that mirrors the smoky bottle, in an image that plays up her signature sex appeal. The scent itself mixes notes that were chosen to reflect aspects of her personality, with jasmine, tuberose and gardenia evoking her femininity and tonka bean and sandalwood suggesting an even softer side. For the time being, however, you can look — but not smell. The scent, which will range in price from $16 for a .33-oz. rollerball to $65 for a 3.4-oz. spray, won’t launch until February, exclusively at Sephora. “The City” P.R. Guru Kelly Cutrone Turns Author!

Harper Collins

Lauren Conrad isn’t the only Hills alum working on her literary career. Kelly Cutrone, Lauren’s former boss at PR powerhouse People’s Revolution, is set to release her first book If You Have to Cry, Go Outside…And Other Things Your Mother Never Told You. The book, which will hit shelves February 2, will give girls advice on all areas of life with the same tough-love that the P.R. queen has become known for. “It’s kind of like the good, the bad and the ugly,” Kelly tells WWD. “It covers everything from marriages to relationships to jobs to….Even Ashley Dupré makes a little appearance in my book.” Kelly is no stranger on dishing out advice to young girls, acting as Whitney Port‘s mentor on The City. “I felt like there’s a lot of confusion about what it means to be feminine,” says Kelly. “I wanted to write a book that reached out to young women.” Other than advice, Kelly’s book is full of anecdotes from her personal and professional life as well as motivational tips, like “gather up your courage like an armful of free clothes at a McQueen sample sale,” to encourage up-and comers. And if her recurring role on The City and her new book aren’t enough Kelly for you, the P.R. maven will also be starring in her own reality show for BRAVO, titled Kell on Earth, set to premiere on February 1. So does this mean that Kelly will be retiring from the world of fashion? “P.R. is what I know how to do to make money and it’s what I’m really good at,” she says. “I think it’s a natural thing to say, ‘Oh, OK. Well, now Kelly Cutrone has to leave P.R., but that would be an old model and I’m not really interested in old models…” Hear more from Kelly on her book and future plans at WWD.com. Stylist Nicola Formichetti On Lady Gaga: “It Was An Instant Love”

Seth Browarnik/Startraks

Lady Gaga made headlines all through 2009 with her outrageous looks both on- and off-stage. And while her Muppet-adorned dresses and lack of pants will forever be associated with the artist, she wasn’t alone in creating her signature style. Meet the man behind Gaga’s wacky fashions, stylist Nicola Formichetti. In an a recent interview with T Magazine, the behind-the-scenes fashion star shares his love for all things fashion, including his client Lady Gaga. Nicola, who has styled ad campaigns for everyone from Uniqlo to Dolce & Gabbana and Alexander McQueen, is one of the few who isn’t generally fond of celebrities mixing with fashion. “There’s way too much celebrity in fashion. I don’t really like working with celebrities, so I try to stay away from that whole machine,” he tells T Magazine. But when he met Lady Gaga at a V Magazine shoot, their instant chemistry changed all that. “It was an instant love. I had always stayed away from celebrity and musicians before, but she was so different. Instantly we understood each other completely. We started working naturally — all the videos, shows, tours, etc.,” says Nicola. So how does he come up with Lady Gaga’s jaw-dropping looks? “I get inspired from people around me: my friends, collaborators, designers and photographers,” he says. “I also have a huge toy collection that I often source through for ideas, but most importantly I find that traveling and visiting new places is very inspiring.” Read more from Nicola’s interview with T Magazine here. –Andrea DeSimone

EXCLUSIVE: Dania Ramirez and Queen Latifah Launch CoverGirl’s Clean Makeup for Clean Water Campaign

Axelle/Bauer-Griffin; Bennett Raglin/WireImage

Being a Covergirl spokesperson has some serious perks, but none of them beats the opportunity to give back in a major way. As the latest addition to the makeup giant’s team, actress Dania Ramirez has already had the opportunity to travel to her native Dominican Republic to participate in the brand’s new CoverGirl Clean Makeup for Clean Water campaign and deliver a year’s supply of drinking water to villages in need, as part of the cosmetics company’s pledge to donate $500,000 to the Children’s Safe Drinking Water charity. “This program is especially important to me as I know firsthand that unsafe drinking water is a matter of life or death. When I was growing up in the Dominican Republic, we had to boil our water before drinking it so we didn’t get sick or worse,” the 30-year-old actress tells PEOPLE. “It means so much to me to give back such a simple gift as clean water!” Fellow CoverGirl spokesmodel Queen Latifah has also joined Clean Makeup for Clean Water mission, announcing a rare opportunity for fans to win the chance to join the campaign trip to Africa next year. “Log on to covergirl.com and submit a video entry telling us how you give back to make the world a better place and why this makes you beautiful, inside and out,” she explains. “The winner of the contest will get to be part of the next CoverGirl Clean Makeup for Clean Water mission trip to Africa later this year where we will help deliver clean water to people who desperately need it.” For more info, visit covergirl.com. –Emily Hsieh
