The Scoop on Gisele’s First Post-Baby Shoot

Black/Startraks

Her baby bump may have been photoshopped out of her London Fog ads, but Gisele Bündchen‘s post-baby body is about to be on display in a new set of ads, the first since the arrival of baby Benjamin last month. “She is doing photos for Colcci’s Winter campaign at the end of January,” a rep for the Brazilian fashion line tells PEOPLE, adding, “They will be the first photos of her since the birth.” Still, don’t expect the new mom (dad is husband Tom Brady) to be rushing back to work,” says a source who knows her. “With the exception of her few contracts, she’s definitely taking a break [into] the New Year,” says the source. “It wouldn’t surprise me if she gives up most of the business,” adds the source. “Why not? She has tons of money and a rich, gorgeous husband she adores and she wants a large family and more children, so why not?” – Charlotte Triggs; with reporting by Dom Phillips and Peter Mikelbank

Angelina Jolie No Longer the Face of St. John

Gilbert Flores/CelebrityPhoto

While Angelina Jolie hasn’t appeared in an ad for St. John for some time, the luxury knitwear company is speaking out on the absence of her famous face from their campaign. The label’s chief executive officer Glenn McMahon tells WWD, “[Jolie] overshadowed the brand. We wanted to make a clean break from actresses and steer away from blondes and cleanse the palette.” So while other luxury brands have hired the likes of Madonna, Emma Watson, Eva Mendes and others to star in their upcoming spring/summer 2010 campaigns, St. John turned to red-headed model Karen Elson, a decision McMahon sees as a step in the right direction for the brand. “We needed to show a modern point of view of St. John,” he says. “We have evolved.” And according to the label’s website, executive vice president of design for St. John, George Sharp, who also directed the new ads, views Karen as the “epitome of the modern day woman…the St. John woman… strong, confident, sensual and approachable with effortless glamour.” Tell us: What do you think of St. John’s decision to drop Angelina Jolie from their ad campaign? – Andrea DeSimone

Dakota Fanning & Gabourey Sidibe Star on Dual Covers for V’s Size Issue

Courtesy V Magazine

The fashion world has already caused a stir with several major magazines featuring spreads with larger models — but the newest V magazine takes the issue to bold new levels, with a high-fashion take on celebrating all body types by filling its pages with plus-sized and standard-issue models. Dual covers feature either Precious Golden Globe nominee Gabourey Sidibe with a flip out of New Moon star Dakota Fanning or vice versa. On the inside pages, Gabourey discusses what it’s like to go from college student to starlet. “My life is so much different than I ever imagined it being,” she says of stumbling into the profession. “Growing up, there weren’t a lot of actresses and singers who looked like me,” she explains. “There were no real times that I thought maybe I can do it, until Mo’Nique came along. She’s a plus-sized woman who didn’t care about one day being skinny. All my life I’ve been hearing that I’ll never amount to anything until I am skinny. And she disproved everything that everyone has ever told me.” Dakota discusses growing up famous, explaining, “I think that when you’re in the public eye, you automatically become a role model, because people are reading about you and looking at pictures of stuff you’ve done. So I definitely think you have to make good choices. But, you know, no one’s perfect, everyone makes mistakes. I have made mistakes and I will make mistakes. I’m only human.” Go to Vmagazine.com for a glimpse of all the features in the special “size” issue now or pick up the issue when it hits newsstands on January 14.

Debra L. Rothenberg/Startraks; Girlie/Fame

While she may not be able to buy Heidi Klum’s maternity designs yet, that isn’t stopping Amy Adams from looking fabulous during her pregnancy, thanks to designer Carolina Herrera! InStyle.com reports that the designer is reworking pieces from her current collections to create a custom-made wardrobe for the lucky mom-to-be. Lindsay Lohan Accused of Copying Designs for Her 6126 Line

London Entertainment/Splash News Online; Courtesy 6126

Looks like Lindsay Lohan‘s hope for a drama-free 2010 is already over. Merely a week after plans to expand her leggings line 6126 into a full fashion line hit the internet — complete with sketches — Lindsay has been accused of copying designs by two separate designers, reports WWD. First, James Lillis, designer of Black Milk Clothing, took to his blog, toomanytights.typepad.com, to point out the similarities between Lindsay’s “Diamond” leggings and his own “Sheer Spartan” leggings — both of which boast a signature triangle cutout at mid-thigh. Next,Fashionista.com labeled Lindsay’s geometric dress as a dead ringer for a Jen Kao dress the star wore only last month — to which designer Jen Kao responded to WWD, saying, “While we are all well aware that being ‘mimicked’ or ‘copied’ has always existed in this industry, I think the evolution of it all has grown to an alarming level. It’s a shame to support the concept of taking advantage of designers who are still trying to develop a name and solidify the image of their design aesthetic.” While Lindsay has yet to respond to the accusations against her, Kristi Kaylor, president of 6126, defended Lindsay and the integrity of her designs to WWD, saying, “The alleged ‘copying’ claims made by these companies are false and have absolutely no merit or validity whatsoever. Any alleged similarities are purely coincidental. The 6126 illustrations for the upcoming fall 2010 collections do not even describe the fabric content, fit or actual construction details of the garments. This is merely an accusation based upon a pencil sketch with no concrete viable evidence to back up the allegations.”

Amanda Seyfried Shares Her Fashion Secrets and Beauty Must-Haves

Courtesy Lucky

We’ve already seen Amanda Seyfried sing with Meryl Streep in Mamma Mia and get gory with Megan Fox in Jennifer’s Body, and now Lucky‘s newest cover-girl is taking a break from her busy film career to share a few of her favorite things. When it comes to fashion, the actress doesn’t hesitate in revealing her top picks: “I love Stella McCartney and Alexander Wang,” she says. “But I’m much more likely to buy leggings or drop-crotch sweatpants from them than an elaborate, low-cut piece. They both make casual clothes that have a little something extra going on–which is what I want.” And while the ethereal actress typically prefers a light touch when it comes to makeup, she has learned to play up her natural glow. “Benefit blushes are so easy to blend. They work great on me because they create a subtle flush against my pale complexion.” As for mascara, the star’s favorite, Maybelline Great Lash, is as budget-friendly as it is high-performance. “It goes on clean and thick and doesn’t clump when I curl my lashes after applying it–and it’s inexpensive!” Who doesn’t love a star who loves a bargain? Click over to Lucky.com to learn more of her favorites.–Katherine Kluznik Rentmeester
