Hired as CCO and President – based on what? SATC had a costumer, the movies have costumers, and SJP probably uses a stylist for the photo ops. Why aren’t those the people being hired as CCO and President? Why isn’t it enough to be a talented actress or singer or tennis player, and leave the fashion design to someone who’s actually worked for it? I would love to see the reaction of people if a great fashion designer decided to try out acting – and got to start right out as the star in a big-budget Hollywood drama, or was seeded 10th at Wimbledon, you know, because they’re famous.
