How Much Would You Spend to Dress Like Kings of Leon?

Grab a pair of skinny jeans, a fedora and a flannel shirt and you can look just like hip Nashville rockers Kings of Leon. However, if you pluck the items from the band’s new clothing collection, it’s going to cost you a pretty penny. With a black leather bomber jacket going for $1150, T-shirt for $108 and jeans for $150, you’ll need a wallet that’s on fire to keep that closet full of Leon gear. The four-time Grammy nominees will release their 12-piece collection with Paris-based Surface2Air in the U.S. under the name S2A x KOL. Set to be available at fine men’s clothing stores like Barney’s New York and on starting Jan. 25, the Followills’ hipster designs also include ankle boots, flat-brimmed fedoras and flannel shirts. No word on whether we’ll see the rockers wearing their own designs at the upcoming Grammy Awards on Jan. 31. –Jessica Herndon

deanna on

i would spend maybe 50 on a jacket and 75 on pants.

Anyone agree???

Why would anyone want to dress like them? Much less spend a lot of money doing it. I wouldn’t buy their so called music, much less try to dress like them.

Lisa on

No thanks. Not for that kind of money. $100 t-shirts. Are they high?

Nichole on

Definitely not those prices. I don’t like this band and I love rock music.

teresa on

you can actually buy clothes like theirs from the thrift store, so, no thanks.

karen on

teresa is right you can find many vintage and rocker styles at vintage stores or thrift stores

Not one red cent! Yuck! They must have visited the Goodwill store to buy their clothes!

Nicole on

Ugh, another unoriginal, skinny jean & fedora band trying to make a quick buck by becoming “designers”. Give me a break!

I love Kings of Leon!

I’m with teresa, any thrift store you can find this stuff in..I could buy this entire outfit for about $15.00..In my opinion, skinny jeans are for gay men or young girls..

c’mon you guys are being way to harsh ! i do understand that the clothes are expense but i agree with deanna! you can get great deals

annabelle on

Are you serious?!?! Thats outrageous! They gotta realize not everyone is in a famous rock band and can afford over priced walmart clothes.

I Hoping that this is a joke, I do not believe that KOL would ever think they could charge so much for basically junkwear.Maybe its a statement about how foolish it is to follow a trend no matter the least I hope its a joke!!

What a great idea! Announce an overpriced clothing line right after one of the worst natural disasters in history! Don’t waste your money on Haiti, throw it away on clothes. You go, Kings of Leon!

buzlow mayday on

Their clothing is as weak as their music………..

mmaza on

I’ll just go to the thrift store and by it off the rack.

Get the eff out of here! Do they not know that we are in a recession and that 45% of people under the age of 22 are unemployed and the national unemployment rate is 10%. Geez, talk about screwing your audience.

canadamerchant on

what a bunch of cheapos on this site. do you all only shop in malls or department stores? the prices for these kings of leon clothes are pretty much in line as with any independent boutique i shop at – and i’m not rich.

if your idea of fashion shopping involves walmart you are not fit to comment on anything related to fashion.

I’d pay $1,150 for Nathan Followill’s underwear after a concert. And then I would create a new trend by wearing underwear over my face.
