Kanye West might have a very public affection for all things Louis Vuitton — the rapper even designed sneakers for the high-fashion label! — but the French house isn’t the only brand Kanye loves. For the 5th time since 2005, Kanye is proving his loyalty to Japanese label Bathing Ape by appearing in the company’s 2010 spring/summer catalog. Modeling the brand’s famous graphic hoodies and urban cool looks, Kanye graces the cover of the newest catalog, shot by photographer Keiichi Nitta. The rapper took to his personal blog to praise the shoot and company writing in his trademark capital letters, “THIS SHOOT WAS MAD FUN. THIS COLLECTION USES REALLY GREAT FABRICS, EASY TO WEAR CUTS AND STILL THE OCCASIONAL SUPER EXPRESSIVE DECADENT PRINTS. BAPE RAN THE LAST DECADE AND THEY’RE READY FOR THE NEXT ONE!” Tell us: What do you think of Kanye’s Bathing Ape shoot?–Andrea DeSimone
