Dolce & Gabbana on Their Nine Role: ‘A Dream Come True’

Courtesy Dolce & Gabbana

Nine‘s A-list leading ladies might be decked out in Chopard jewels throughout the movie, but Dolce & Gabbana’s designers, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, have scored actual roles in the much-anticipated flick! The pair play Italian priests alongside Kate Hudson, Nicole Kidman, Penélope Cruz, Fergie and Marion Cotillard. And though they’re used to rubbing shoulders with Hollywood royalty, working alongside them on this film was definitely a special treat: “We wanted so much to be part of this project! Federico Fellini has always been one of our greatest sources of inspiration, one of the most important Italian directors,” the duo tells PEOPLE through a spokesperson. “For us, being part of a movie inspired by the work of the maestro is like a dream come true. Rob Marshall did an amazing work and the cast is amazing! He was able to put together the most beautiful and talented actresses of various generations and great actors. We couldn’t be more happy to be chosen, even if for a short appearance.” Nine opens on December 25 nationwide. Tell us: Are you excited to see Nine?

Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian already have proved that siblings can share the spotlight, but now they’ll have to make room for one more of their brood on the fashion front. Half-sister Kendall Jenner is the next Keeping Up with the Kardashians sibling to take center stage, with a starring role in a fashion campaign for Forever 21 Twist. Arriving at the shoot with a camera crew in tow, the 14 year-old modeled an over-the-top, retro-glam mix of animal prints, polka dots, and plaids in a black, red and blue palette. With her creamy complexion and the same long raven hair as her older sisters, Kendall looks like a natural in front of the camera. The campaign and collection will hit Forever 21 stores at the end of January. Tell us: What do you think of Kendall Jenner’s Forever 21 campaign?

Twilight‘s Ashley Greene Dishes On Her Own ‘Fairytale’ Prom Night

Courtesy TeenPROM

Ashley Greene has had some magical prom experiences — most famously giving her on-screen costar Bella a glam makeover for her evening out with Edward in Twilight. Her off-screen reality was quite different, though still pretty dreamy. In the 2010 issue of TeenPROM, Greene says, “I bought my dress and I pretty much paid for everything because my parents really didn’t have the money to pay for something like that. I worked for it, so I think it meant that much more to me because I had to save up.” She continues: “I went with my high school sweetheart and had a blast. I had that fairytale prom everyone talks about.” As a spokesperson for DonateMyDress.org, a charity that targets underprivileged prom-goers, the actress, who gave up her own hard-earned gold sequined gown for the cause, wants to ensure that other girls have similarly blissful memories. The 22-year-old starlet has the following advice for teens: “People have a lot of anticipation for an event like prom and end up overdoing it or wearing too much makeup. Really make sure you are comfortable because then you’ll feel beautiful, instead of going overboard and asking yourself, ‘Oh my gosh, what did I do?’” For more prom tips from Ashley, check out the new TeenPROM, which hits newsstands December 22, or visit teenmag.com.

With four Oscar nominations to her name and a new Golden Globe nomination, Julianne Moore can now add jewelry model to her already-impressive resume. The famous redhead will appear in Bulgari’s spring summer 2010 jewelry and watch advertising campaign. The ads, which are being called “Eccentric Charisma”, will debut in February 2010. Bulgari points to Julianne’s “timeless charisma” and “inescapable magnetism” as well as her beauty, intelligence and confidence as the perfect representation of the Bulgari woman.
