More details have emerged about Carrie Underwood’s gorgeous engagement ring. The sizeable center stone, first spotted when Underwood flashed her ring while cheering on fiancé Mike Fisher and the rest of his Ottawa Senators teammates at their Monday night game, is actually a flawless yellow diamond, designed for her by jeweler Johnathon Arndt, who said in a release, “This ring is a symbol of love from Mike Fisher to Carrie Underwood,” as he wished the couple congratulations. This isn’t the first time the American Idol alum has worn Arndt’s baubles: back in 2007 at the Country Music Awards, the 26 year-old performed her hit “So Small” in a diaphanous canary yellow chiffon gown bedecked with the jeweler’s twin imperial jadeite and diamond butterfly pins worth a staggering six million dollars! I think she seem like a bit of a DIVA. She should remember that if it weren’t for american idol she would be working at the mall.

Im so happy for her. She’s a gem, congrats to the both of them!

Does anyone have a close up or more CLEAR version of what the ring looks like???

She is such a b*tch. And no, I am not jealous – I have a 3 carat princess cut of my own.

I find it absolutely ridiculous that people wish “celebrities” all the best and congratulations on this page – like they will actually care or read it.

This proves how dependent on celebrity we as a nation are.

I agree with JC-how shallow flashing a ring like that? Than again, that’s Carrie style–she needs to be centre of attention always even when inappropriate like the Country Music Awards when she tried to upstage Taylor Swift at the end of the show saying and How were we -we were Awesome! in reference to her hosting. That is not classy at all. Take a look at her at the Senators game studying her ring–she doesn’t look too happy-maybe the ring is not big enough for her big ego. Poor Mikey!

Love Carrie. Glad she is happy.

GO PENS!

Mike may have been daydreaming when the Pens beat them 8-2 last night.

JC, People Magazine put Carrie’s story on the StyleWatch page, not the news page so this story did not bump Sean Goldman’s reunion with his father.

ru, I know Carrie and Mike are concerned about those folks who’ve lost a lot during the recession. It isn’t their fault. And, by the way, I don’t think she was “flashing” her ring. She was speaking to another woman seated next to her during the game and I will tell you we “Okies” talk with our hands. A photographer just happened to zoom in on that moment.

Since nobody is representing the real time here… Go Sens!!!!!! And congrats mike and carrie. She knows how to pick ‘em.

That’s great. How much did that ring cost? I would be more excited to see that they’d donated that amount of money to a charity of some sort. St. Jude’s perhaps.
