Nicole Kidman might wear head-to-toe designer labels on the red carpet (the actress looked stunning in Azzedine Alaia at the Nine premiere in London last week) but off-duty, she prefers a very different look. “I collect vintage clothes,” she tells British SHE magazine in its December issue. “I’m obsessed with lace and 1940’s florals.” Slipping into dainty tea dresses is a non-issue for the 42 year-old, given her passion for exercise, and in particular, running: “It’s what my dad taught us – he’s a marathon runner,” she says. And he’s hoping to pass his enthusiasm for fitness on to his granddaughter, Sunday Rose. The actress continues, “He’s 71 and goes on 10-mile runs. He takes Sunday hiking on his back for hours.” With a recipe book that includes fried artichoke pasta, Kidman says she prefers to focus on her health rather than numbers on a scale. “As Keith’s a musician there are pitstops at Wendy’s” she says, adding: “But I’m six-foot tall, so it’s not weight that’s an issue for me, but things like cholesterol.” -Monique Jessen

Why are there never anything mentioned about Kidmans two other children??? Is she not a mother to those anymore? Feels unnatural that everything written about Kidman sounds like she’s a mother of one… :(

What a beautiful woman! She is truly a class act. She seems confident and not focused on weight, but on health, unlike many people in Hollywood. She is truly a genuinely good person.

In answer to your question about Nicole Kidman’s other children, I believe former spouse Tom Cruise has custody — though you never see them with him, either. He’s too busy putting high heels on toddler Suri from his current marriage to Katie Holmes.

I’m sure she loves those two children, too. However, they are now grown & doing their own things & probably doesn’t involve her as much, so, I guess she spends most of her time taking care of the little Sunday Rose, who can’t fend for herself just yet. Just my two cents, really.

Sad part about the Connor and Isabel, is that they are adopted and Suri and Sunday Rose are birth children. I’m sure they feel the disparity as well, and it will reflect on their life in later years. I guess, control fre ak Tom did not want to have naturallly born children with Nicole, as she did not convert to his fre -akish religion, and probably knew they would be divorced before long. His child bride has embraced the whole space – cr ap so, he doesn’t feel threatened. What a mess for the two older children. Tom is actually having them initiated into his beliefs. I’m glad that Nicole is out of it now, and happy with her present life.

I honestly love Nicole Kidman.. she is so divine! And I never describe anyone like that, but it’s the word that came to mind. :)

Anna I agree. with the papers (in the U.K.) full of Tom and Suri and Nicole only ever mentioning her baby, the other two children must feel very sidelined.

Nicole had several miscarriages while she was married to Tom. They have both been very open about it. I think the other 2 kids are getting older and want out of their crazy parents lives, out of the limelight.

I see pics of Tom and Nicole with
Connor and Isabel all the time. Just a few weeks ago Connor, Tom and Katie were photo’d together, minus Suri. They just do different things with the older children. Connor is starting acting under Dad, in fact he was in one of Tom’s latest movies.

She is extremely classy and Tennessee is glad to have her and Keith as our neighbors. They seem to have dodged the ‘superficialness’ of LA and live normal lives.
