It’s Taylor Swift like you’ve never seen her before! The country star goes big-city stylish on the cover of this Sunday’s T: The New York Times Style Magazine. And on its inside pages it’s clear that she’s come a long way from her days of dressing in jeans and sparkly shirts to drop off CD demos at major record labels when she was just 11. Taylor models some seriously high-fashion looks in the spread, which was shot by famed photographer Raymond Meier, including a silver metallic Burberry Prorsum jacket, Chanel dress, to a dazzling Prada Swarovski crystal top and chandelier skirt. But it wasn’t just fashion on the star’s mind. Swift talks openly about growing up as an outcast. “I would sit on the edge of class and watch people interact with each other,” said Swift. “I’d watch guys flirt with cool girls and I would watch best friends talk, and I would go home and write about it. If you listen to my albums, it’s like reading my diary.” Visit nytimes.com to watch video of the singer’s heart-to heart with T‘s editor at large, and read the full story in T Magazine’s Holiday issue, which comes out this weekend in the Sunday New York Times.

All Taylor Swift sings about is how she was sooo different in high school and how she straightened her hair to fit in and she would NEVER EVER do that again. Hmmm…I guess never ever is finally here.

I’m in high school. Curly hair is practically welcomed.

Not to mention she totally gives girls the idea that sobbing over a pathetic guy is okay. High schoolers have no idea what love is. They’re too self centered. And oh.em.gee. shockingly Taylor Swift’s songs are all about her.

i actually don’t like these photos. I like taylor and think she’s really gorgeous but she isn’t a high fashion model and looks a little out of place here in my opnion. too forced

I loved these photos!
She´s almost looking like Lady Gaga; there´s something from her in this pics; maybe the make up, I don´t know. I just know that she is looking amazing; Taylor is a woman, not a girl.. Think about it – she´s more interesting using these clothes and make up..

Kisses from Brasil!

I don’t like it taylor has always had a great sence of style and this isn’t the look fir a country singer. She has influenced my wordrobe and I get more complements ever since. It’s not her .

Hmm, the photos are beautiful, but I kind of like the bubbly, fun, and fresh Taylor she is on stage better.

Wow. Doesn’t look like she’s being herself. They’re making her something she’s not.
