It’s Taylor Swift like you’ve never seen her before! The country star goes big-city stylish on the cover of this Sunday’s T: The New York Times Style Magazine. And on its inside pages it’s clear that she’s come a long way from her days of dressing in jeans and sparkly shirts to drop off CD demos at major record labels when she was just 11. Taylor models some seriously high-fashion looks in the spread, which was shot by famed photographer Raymond Meier, including a silver metallic Burberry Prorsum jacket, Chanel dress, to a dazzling Prada Swarovski crystal top and chandelier skirt. But it wasn’t just fashion on the star’s mind. Swift talks openly about growing up as an outcast. “I would sit on the edge of class and watch people interact with each other,” said Swift. “I’d watch guys flirt with cool girls and I would watch best friends talk, and I would go home and write about it. If you listen to my albums, it’s like reading my diary.” Visit nytimes.com to watch video of the singer’s heart-to heart with T‘s editor at large, and read the full story in T Magazine’s Holiday issue, which comes out this weekend in the Sunday New York Times.

I think she’s beautiful! This girl does whatever she sets her mind to & its gonna make her a successful loved person, more than what she is now! Way to go taylor

Sorry… nothing can make this twig look pretty. She’s a beady eyed anorexic rodent. With all this paint on her, add ‘prostitute’ to the list.

I don’t get it talentwise either. When she performs, all I can think is “Now sing the *other* note.”

Adam Lambert called… he wants his album cover back

I actually like these quite a lot. Her normal eye makeup choice makes her look particularly squinty eyed, and the blue is a nice change. It opens up her face/eyes.

she is so nauseating and wayyyy over done!!!! i am so sick of hearing about this girl, she has no talent and gets praised for writing nana-nana-boo boo songs. she does NOT deserve to win all of these awards that are thrown at her, not when we have REAL talent like Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, and Beyonce who deserves to win them. I mean really she won over Michael Jackson this year? Something is rigged…or the 13 year old voters are taking over. Her ship will soon sink. She can only sing about high school for so long….

AMENNN katie, emma, and emmerrel!! i couldn’t have said it better! she is a talentless, anorexic, rodent! she has the weirdest eyes and needs to eat a sandwich…and maybe go through puberty?

I do not believe this is fashion. It shows everything wrong with the fashion world. What normal person would dress like this. My girls and I love Taylor for her down home feel. This was just a waste of a great talent America loves. It oes back to the way they imagine out our youth. Talyor, Be yourself! That is how America loves you.

she looks pretty but her discomfort shows. not quite a natural in haute couture, but still pretty photos nonetheless.
