Heidi Klum didn’t plan on walking the runway of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show last night, but let’s just say she’s a little bit impulsive. “I felt great the night of the fashion show and decided last minute to walk,” the supermodel, 36, who welcomed daughter Lou, with husband Seal, last month, tells PEOPLE exclusively. Klum, who had already been fitted for her dress, opened the Enchanted Forest-themed part of the show, wearing a vine-strewn corset and a full white skirt. “I loved my outfit,” she says, “so I thought, why not?” Her surprise appearance, known only to Victoria’s Secret insiders, drew screams and applause from a shocked audience during the live show Thursday night. Though Klum, who was expected only to host the festivities, said that while her new job behind the scenes meant there was “definitely less pressure,” walking in the show was a thrill for her. “I’m proud of being the curvy model on the Victoria’s Secret stage,” she says, adding that she enjoyed the show herself. “The Black Eyed Peas and all of the looks for the show were fantastic!” You can watch Heidi — and all the Angels — hit the runway when the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show airs on CBS at 10pm EST on Dec. 1.–Charlotte Triggs

Heidi Klum or whatever her name is – looks GREAT! I agree she is curvy for a model – not your typical sick looking waif. I don’t think she needs to lose any weight but she should do whatever makes her comfortable. I agree with those who say that Christina Hendricks from Mad Men “curvy” in the real sense of the word.

if we all had a personal trainer come to our home every day as well as a round the clock chef/nutritionalist, all women could look this great post-baby. this is not reality.
but then again, reality shows are not real anyway.
i think she looks magnificent. take away the white tuille and possibly we would see heavy thighs which are quite normal post pregnancy.

If Heidi Klum is so “proud to be the curvy model”, why is she covering up the lower half of her body with that fluffy white stuff? This is so ridiculous..

Let’s talk about the fact that she has a 5yr old by another man. The a 4 and 3 year old with Seal. What example is that show young girls. Its ok to have a baby with 1 man then get pregnant by another shortly after delivering the first. And that it’s ok to have unprotected sex so soon. AIDS is rapid.

Hey America Fat doesn’t equal curvy. Overweight doesn’t equal curvy. Fat rolls aren’t curves. Big boobs don’t equal curvy. Its funny how we label overweight or obese women as curvy, and we think skinny people can’t be curvy. We have become so fat that we don’t know a real curvy body when we see one. Skinny people can be curvy and even more curvy than an overweight person with a fat belly. Curvy is having a much smaller waist to a wider hip ratio. Think of how a guitar curves, much similar to a curvy female. Heidi does have curves, not prominent, but she does have curves. Leave her alone.

All of you out there that are criticizing her for saying that she’s curvy and that she still has some pounds to lose need to get a grip! America is so pathetically unhealthy and in a constant battle with obesity, people (like Heidi) that keep themselves in shape by exercising control and willpower by eating healthy foods and exercising should be praised! Yes, she has help, but why condemn her for that? She worked to earn what she has and she has every right to enjoy the fruits of her labor. But, it doesn’t take having a personal trainer and a chef to exercise daily and eat healthy foods. It takes discipline and I have a feeling that all of you out there that are critical of her don’t have much.

I think this “who can get fastest back into shape after giving birth” trend is so sick. I wish these celebrity women (or at least 1 one them!) would think their babies first. Losing the babyweight fast, is not healthy for the baby. Her body`s chemicals start to absorb into the milk.
