I don’t understand why people are getting so crazy about this “no food taste as good as the skinny feels”. There might be few youngsters who are anorectic but how many people suffer from all kind of symptoms because they are over-weighted? Isn’t fatness a much bigger problem?

Ms. Moss cannot possibly believe her own words. We have nothing by which to judge her other than her looks and her public behavior. While she is definitely genetically endowed with physical beauty if her outside reflected the very troubled woman she is apparently inside she would not be in the public eye at all. Physical beauty is, in fact, skin deep.

What an irresponsible, brainless thing to say. Why doesn’t she just wear a sign that says, “Bullimia and cocaine are the way to happiness!” And on top of that, to claim that NOTHING tastes as good as skinny feels…?! Au contraire – apparently Miss Moss has never eaten lobster with drawn butter or a nice gyoza.

I agree with the people saying it probably wasn’t the best way for her to say that, because of the people who look up to her, but what she basically said was very true. I have lost 100lbs, going from morbidly obese to a normal weight. I have never felt better. I’m conscious of what I eat now, because I have energy, I can play with my son and all around I feel much better, and I don’t ever want to be that heavy again. At the same time, there are plenty of ‘healthy’ foods out there that taste great. That and the key I think is moderation, not deprivation, and thats how you get happy and healthy. My family has eating disorders in it, and so I know that being to skinny and to obsessed about it, are not good for you. but like someone said, she’s not scary skinny, and who are we to judge her anyway

I’m sorry, but she’s right about that comment. I too, have had an eating disorder since I was 17 and I am now approaching 30. Kate moss is not inebriated skinny. She’s thin. I will never be that thin, nor do I aspire to be. But I work out 6 days a week and watch what I eat. I’m athletic, and thats what I my body is supposed to look like. She is not promoting anorexia. All of you who are taking her comment out of context are just angry and obviously unhappy with your body. She didn’t say “don’t eat”. She is just saying watch what you eat. I cannot believe how fast people jump to attack her, probably just out of jealousy.

Skinny doesn’t feel that great when you’re freezing to death and you’re woken up by your hip bones digging into the sheet.
It also doesn’t feel so great when you’re watching your peers start family and you’ve paid a high price for skinniness.
Friends and energy and life feel a lot better – and you can lose them when you get caught up in an eating disorder as 17 years of anorexia bulimia taught me.
It’s a lesson I’d rather not have learnt – and a message that is often lost behind the ‘thin is in’ ethos….

She is right! I lost 35 pounds on Weight Watchers back in 2005 and man, being healthy and a size 4 was FANTASTIC!!! And she is right, being skinny (i.e. healthy) does feel much better than a bag of chips or a sleeve of thin mints!
It takes discipline and focus, but she is completely right!

I’m 13 and I agree with the quote “nothing tastes at good as skinny feels.” We all know its true. I am miserable if I think I look fat. She has been in an industry for a long time that tells you if your fat than you don’t matter and she become an icon because of her body type. Also, did no one notice the quote “It sounds really corny, but I think that if you’re beautiful inside, it shows on the outside for sure.” Its a great quote thats very true!!

Kate Moss has got to be one of the most “fortunate” people ever. Sorry, but she is SO over-rated! What really angers me is that not only that but how about the FACT she was and maybe still is a coke head!! So, her motto is do coke and don’t eat, yet–she has managed to STILL have a huge career. How is this possible??? And I am not fat, so that is not where I am coming from. I spent a life of working out and no drugs. When I saw her as one of Times “Most Interesting People”, it made me so mad. The woman is one of our worst role models. All we read is her partying. Yes, she is DARN fortunate in THIS life, but how about eternity, Kate??
