Everytime I see Blake Lively only one word comes to mind-vanilla. Yes, she wears great clothes, and the stylist does a great job putting her looks together. But, she’s just so boring to me. Same stand, same look, same expression. I don’t get the obsession with her or her character.
However, I don’t miss an episode of Gossip Girl.

Compare Serena with Summer (Rachel Bilson) in the O.C. Both beauties in fact had merged on-screen off-screen boy friends. The character of Serena, however, is sophisticated enough and classy enough to enable the actress to benefit and even encourage the blur with her real life identity. Clothes, boyfriends, attitude. If it works for you and you like it, why shouldn’t the actress have the choice of adopting the parts she wants into her private persona?

I’m thrilled she’s on the cover. Will definitely pick this one up. I love her & Serena’s style. And if I had her character’s wardrobe choices, I’d wear them too.

I was thinking the same thing– Blake seems like such a classy, yet fashionable lady in real life. Her character, Serena, not so much– her wardrobe is overtly sexy and over the top.
