George Clooney’s Girlfriend Takes Her Italian Fashion Allegiance to the Red Carpet

Joanne Davidson/PictureGroup

George Clooney might have been the star of the show at the Fantastic Mr. Fox premiere in London on Wednesday, but it was his Italian girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis’s red carpet outfit that really wowed the crowd. The Milan-based television presenter remained loyal to her roots with a head-to-toe Italian outfit. Wearing a long black asymmetric dress with leather detailing by Emilio Pucci, fresh from the label’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection accessorized with Giorgio Armani heels and a Corto Moltedo ‘Susan Bow’ clutch bag, the look was Dolce Vita glam at its best. Gabriele Corto Moltedo, who has a celebrity fan base including Madonna and Naomi Campbell, couldn’t be happier that Canalis chose to wear his bag. “Elisabetta is as graceful as she is sexy,” he tells PEOPLE from his Paris boutique. “Plus, she is super fun and a fellow Italian, it’s perfect!” While stylist and pal Valentina Micchetti tells PEOPLE, “We always choose her outfits together. We are both Italian so, of course, we love Italian designers,” adding “plus we have personal friendships with the designers, so it’s only natural in our eyes.” And Clooney on her arm really does add the perfect finishing touch — bellissima! –Monique Jessen

Mandy Moore Celebrates Fashion, Charity and Being A Newlywed

Landov

What’s better than one hot store opening in a new location in West Hollywood? Two hot stores opening at once, of course! When Diavolina and Madison launched with a single party benefiting the Susan G. Komen foundation Thursday night hosted by Current/Eliott designers Meritt Elliot and Emily Current, Lucy Hale, Tichina Arnold, and Mandy Moore came out to celebrate. Moore, who works with Current and Elliot (they are also stylists) regularly, had something else her mind: her husband of seven months, Ryan Adams. “I’m learning every day,” she said of being married. “I’m lucky because I get to spend every day with my best friend and he’s a great influence.” And their pals second the emotion, with Elliot saying of the couple, “Being around both of them is a joy. They’re super fun.” Mandy also praises Emily and Merritt in turn, enthusing, “I’m always happy to support them, I couldn’t be more excited for their success. You know when hope for people and they deserve it and then it happens to the good people — there is justice in the world. I adore them and I am always happy to come out. Anything to show my love.” The other stars were focused on love of a different kind — retail love! “I’ve never been to Diavolina before but, of course, I’ve been to Madison,” said Hale. “I saw a really cute studded bag in there so I’m going to check that out.” Arnold was thinking bigger. “There are a red pair of Yves Saint Laurent shoes over there. I must have those. It’s perfect for the holidays.”

Sarah Jessica Parker to Launch SATC-Inspired Fragrance

Courtesy Coty

Can you package the joie-de-vivre of Sex and the City’s ultra-fashionable Carrie Bradshaw in a bottle? Coty Prestige plans to do just that with the launch of Sarah Jessica Parker’s newest fragrance, SJP NYC, following on the stiletto heels of her two enormously successful fragrances Lovely and Covet. In an interview with WWD, Parker says that the fruity floral scent will be a “party in a bottle,” influenced primarily by her character, Miss Bradshaw. “A large part of the inspiration was what I now understand to be people’s impressions of seeing Carrie Bradshaw walk down the street and what feelings that evokes for her and for them — a real sense of freedom and possibilities, a love for the city around her and, of course, fashion,” Parker told WWD. SJP NYC, with top notes of Italian mandarin, white osmanthus and wild red strawberries, will arrive exclusively in Macy’s stores in February, just in time to get fans excited for the May release of the second SATC film. The packaging was designed to look like Bradshaw’s famously over-stuffed closet — featuring a simple glass bottle encased in a reusable canister and topped with a hot pink cap. The fragrance collection will include eau de toilette in three sizes as well as a body lotion, priced between $25-$49. A cuff bracelet with solid perfume will debut in May. Pamela Anderson On Her “Rock Concert” Fashion Show

Courtesy of Presidente

When Pamela Anderson launches a fashion line, you know the she’s going to do it her own way. And this week the former Baywatch babe hit south Florida for the American launch of A* Muse — her line of animal- and eco-friendly clothing in collaboration with close friend and Heatherette designer Richie RIch. “When we get together at these fashion shows, [they] are really like rock concerts,” Anderson tells PEOPLE during Miami Beach’s Funkshion Fashion Week presented by Presidente Light. “All of our friends come and it becomes a gigantic party.” And the night certainly was all about celebrating, with a steady stream of bronzed models sashaying down the runway in 88 degree heat in casual beach outfits and T-shirts — with rock music blasting. Even Pamela took a catwalk turn, closing the show in a bright red one-piece swimsuit. Despite the fun of the evening, however, Pamela knows she’s in for a hectic year promoting her leather-free fashions. “I will be traveling all over the world this first year with Richie to present the line,” she explains. “We have introduced a new wave of fashion that is like pop art. And I am so excited that it is animal- and eco-friendly. I have to be there to talk about it!” Rich, who designed Anderson’s white gown when she married Kid Rock on a boat in Europe several years ago, is glad to have his long-time gal pal aboard. “Pam is a kick, she makes things happen,” Rich tells PEOPLE. “And she is such a pet advocate. She is a good influence.” –Linda Marx
