Nicole Richie Designs a Women’s Contemporary Line for Spring!

Michael Kovac/FilmMagic

As if a jewelry collection and maternity line weren’t enough, Nicole Richie is set to launch a contemporary women’s clothing collection for Spring 2010. Winter Kate, named after daughter Harlow’s two middle names, will be a 37-piece line inspired by Nicole’s own bohemian style with a ’60s and ’70s flair, reports WWD. “She is a woman like me,” Nicole says of her target customer. “She does not look at labels; she knows how to mix and match. The pieces can be dressed up, made casual, but most importantly, they provide the wearer a means of self-expression and fun.” Winter Kate will include mostly tops, vests and jackets in colorful vintage-inspired silk, crepe and chiffon. Nicole will also mix in long slip dresses, asymmetrical short dresses, tunics, a kimono-sleeved maxidress, cotton macrame, suede and silk vests, and a shrunken leather jacket. The line will hit stores like Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Ron Herman, Intermix and Kitson, beginning in February. We can’t wait to stock up! Tell us: Will you check out Nicole Richie’s Winter Kate collection?

Rachel Bilson on Fashion: “I Love to Admire Other People”

Stefanie Keenan/WireImage

Casual never looked as chic as it did at Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont last night, where stars like Rachel Bilson, Mandy Moore and Lauren Conrad slipped into their best L.A.-cool fashions in celebration of Madewell’s Fall Denim Tour with Lucky magazine. And for Bilson, whose mom, spiritualist Janice Bilson, made a special appearance reading tarot cards for the superstar guests, style has always been in the cards. “I really look up to a lot of my peers and how they dress,” Rachel, who was wearing a Madewell dotted tank, told PEOPLE of how she picks up style tips. “I love to admire other people.” And in a town filled with famous fashionistas, there’s plenty of inspiration to be had. “Ashley Olsen I think is great, Diane Kruger, Sienna Miller — all those people obviously have good style, so it’s nice to see that around you. Your peers surround you, and they all look good, so that’s great.” –Reporting by Pearl Barraclough

Heidi Klum’s Tips on Dressing Up for Halloween: “Really Go For It!”

Jesse Grant/WireImage

The supermodel has become known for her outrageous costumes and over-the-top annual Halloween bash, and now, Heidi Klum wants to help you get your costume ready. Heidi gives MSN.com the inside scoop on how to get sexy — and scary — for Halloween. For Heidi, the best Halloween costumes are the ones you can make yourself, counting Sexy Cat, Bumble Bee and Bride of Frankenstein among her favorites. “The amazing thing about creating your own costume is that you can be sure no one else has the same!” Heidi tells MSN.com. Heidi suggests that all you need is a leotard and fabric paint to make your own cat costume. “Buy a dog collar with a tag and put a fun message on it,” says Heidi, who wore a collar that read “If lost, please return to Seal,” when she was a cat in 2007. For a Bumble Bee costume, Heidi recommends pairing a black and yellow striped top with hot pants and tights. “Since you’re wearing tights, it’s okay to go super short on the hot pants! Add some super high heels,” Heidi instructs. Check out all ten of Heidi’s DIY Halloween costume ideas, including tips on how to be a Vampire, Angel, Wonder Woman and more at MSN.com. FIRST LOOK: Marisa Miller to Rock Victoria Secret’s New Diamond-Studded Bra

New year, stunning new model! Victoria’s Secret has announced that supermodel and Angel Marisa Miller will follow in Gisele Bundchen‘s sexy stilettos as the crown jewel of the next Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show wearing a $3 million diamond-studded bra created by Damiani — and she’s talking exclusively with PEOPLE about her dazzling new role. “It is an enormous honor to wear the Fantasy bra,” says Marisa. “It’s one of the main features in the Fashion Show every year and I’m so excited to walk the runway in it.” And while last year’s model mixed over 2,900 diamonds and 22 rubies in a floral pattern, this year it’s all about a girl’s best friend. Miller says, “The diamonds are in a harlequin pattern and contain white, champagne and cognac colored diamonds. There is also a 16-carat heart shaped champagne diamond pendant dangling in the middle.” And the supermodel continues, this is one case of not having to suffer for beauty. “It is surprisingly comfortable,” she says, “because the Damiani diamonds are embroidered onto the VS Very Sexy Convertible bra — which is actually one of my favorites.” Set your DVR to CBS on Tuesday December 1st at 10:00 PM ET/PT to catch Marisa and the full lineup of models, including Alessandra Ambrosio, Miranda Kerr and Doutzen Kroes, plus a performance by the Black Eyed Peas.
