The Details on Ivanka Trump’s Spectacular Wedding Jewels!

courtesy of Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry

Something new, something old, something borrowed, something blue…no word on what all of Ivanka Trump’s bridal must-haves were, but we do know what the something sparkling was — thousands of dollars of diamonds from her own jewelry collection! At her Sunday wedding to Jared Kushner at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., she wore a platinum-diamond hairpiece to accent the veil (worth $45,000), platinum mixed-cut clustered diamond earrings (worth $130,000), and an Art Deco link platinum-diamond bracelet (worth $90,000), all in addition to her lace Vera Wang gown. Her bridesmaids were suitably encrusted as well, with assorted pieces from the Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry collection to set off their Carolina Herrera gowns. While the groom did not wear share in the bling, he was suitably stylish in a Brioni tuxedo. Read more about Ivanka’s fairytale wedding by clicking here.

Heidi Klum Turns Shoe and Clothing Designer!

Landov

Looks like six seasons as the host of Project Runway has inspired Heidi Klum to turn designer. The supermodel has joined forces with Modern Vintage and Majestic Mills co-founders Rick and Brian Cytrynbaum to create a lifestyle collection that will include footwear, dresses, swimwear and activewear, reports WWD. And when Heidi was searching for inspiration, she looked no further than her own glamorous closet. That’s inspiration enough for us! “It’s feminine with a bit of a fashion and rock ‘n’ roll edge,” Brian Cytrynbaum tells WWD. Heidi’s 48-style shoe collection will be the first to hit stores in February 2010 and will include everything from sky-high stilettos to tall boots. And that’s not all: Heidi will also be releasing a maternity collection the same month! We can’t wait to see what the supermodel has in store for us. Stay tuned for more details. Tell us: Are you excited for Heidi’s shoe and clothing collection?

Gwen Stefani, Mary J. Blige and More Honor Fashion’s All-Stars

Dave Allocca/Startraks

To honor some of the biggest names in the business, Fashion Group International called upon the luxe labels’ star clients including, Gwen Stefani, James Franco, Jon Bon Jovi and Mary J. Blige, “I’ve been a Gucci girl as long as I remember Gucci being around,” said Blige, who kicked off the evening by joining Franco in giving Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini the Star Honoree award. “I went to the fashion show in Milan,” she told PEOPLE after stepping down from the stage, “And everything that was coming down that runway, I was screaming. So many people keep their game-face on: they are quiet. I was screaming.” And while the singer relished her time praising the designer on stage and off, Gwen Stefani got a case of stage fright when giving a beauty award to Catherine Walsh, Coty’s Senior Vice President of American Fragrances. “”I hate doing this. This is my hell,” Stefani said of public speaking. Other stars who took to the stage included Jon Bon Jovi, who presented Kenneth Cole with a humanitarian award and Iman, who honored Michael Kors. Finishing the stylish awards was none-other than Oscar de la Renta who described his decades-spanning career, dressing everyone from Jackie O to Sarah Jessica Parker, as “doing what I love to do most, designing clothes, doing for a woman the best that I can.” Talk about a Starry Night!–Reporting by Jeffrey Slonim

Freida Pinto & Dev Patel’s High-Heel Shopping Date!

Courtesy Rupert Sanderson

When Freida Pinto takes time out to go shoe shopping, there’s only one fashion adviser she needs on her arm, and that’s her Slumdog Millionaire costar — and boyfriend — Dev Patel. This week, the actress took her man to visit one of her favorite British shoe designers, Rupert Sanderson.  Arriving for an appointment at Sanderson’s Mayfair boutique, the pair browsed through the designer’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection. “They couldn’t have been a more charming couple,” wrote the designer on his Vogue.co.uk blog. Surrounded by shoes, Frieda flipped through look books filled with designs, while Patel fixated on one particular style — the super-glamorous satin “Delta” platform. “Dev just loved them. They are super high, with a 12 centimeter heel,” a rep for the designer tells PEOPLE, who confirmed that the style was promptly added to Freida’s order, along with some more practical mid-heels and platforms. “He was like the perfect boyfriend, helping her with color and material choices, listening intently as Rupert explained how the shoes were made.  It was very sweet to watch.” And Dev’s sartorial contributions didn’t go unrewarded — the actor left with a pair of Rupert’s new Saddled O’s for men (available exclusively at Bergdorf Goodman) while Freida left with a pair of olive patent Lolette flats from the current collection. —Monique Jessen
