I really don’t consider this a “faux hawk”. The hairstyle looks fine on her, but it just doesn’t look like a faux hawk to me.

You guys are right. It’s not new but I think her version is more a take on the big hair of the 60s than a faux hawk. I think faux hawks are more dramatic for shorter hair where you can spike it up a bit.

I am an official “sporter” of the faux-hawk. With a short cut it looks amazing and dramatic. I have worn it straight and natural. In both cases the maintenance is simple.
