I would not wear satin shorts because I do not believe in formal shorts in general. A pox on them.

not for a formal occasion (or even an office holiday party), but for a low-key holiday party with friends they could be really cute.

Formal shorts? Absolutely no. Never.

I would wear a dress or nice pants over formal shorts any day. I don’t doubt that some people could pull it off but it’s not my idea of fashionable- trendy perhaps, but I don’t envision it being a classic look that will stick around. When it comes to shorts, I’m a fan of the more traditional summertime cotton/ blue jean shorts look!

Satin shorts would look great on a night out in summer time Chicago. I wouldn’t do a tweed top like the girl in the picture but more of a solid blazer with a lighter top underneath.

Personally I think she looks adorable. Then again Ziyi could get away with anything short of a potato sack. Usually I would say no to formal shorts, but these are in a nice material and black and a good length. I say “You go, girl!”

Maybe-if they were shorter. The ones that she has on look a little dowdy.

Will wear knee-length satin shorts for parties, etc. I wear short satin shorts in the gym and park running already.
