The Inside Scoop on Ivanka Trump’s Wedding Gown and Hair

While Ivanka Trump looked no further than her own jewelry collection for her something sparkling for her wedding to Jared Kushner this weekend, the heiress sought out famed wedding gown designer Vera Wang for her “something new.” Ivanka and Vera Wang worked closely to create the perfect couture wedding gown inspired by the gown Princess Grace Kelly wore to wed Prince Rainier III of Monaco in 1956. The result — a hand made lace gown fit for a princess. To complement her majestic gown, Ivanka paid long time hair stylist Julien Farel a visit 10 days prior to the wedding for a trim and “Park Avenue Blonde” highlights. And though Wang was still putting the finishing touches on Ivanka’s wedding gown just days before the ceremony, the heiress was “really calm” according to Suelyn Farel, whose husband Julien cut about an inch and half off of Ivanka’s blonde tresses. “She really just wanted to make sure she had a fabulous trim so her hair would be able to style well the day of the wedding,” Suelyn tells PEOPLE. Hi there! I was on your site looking for pireucts of one of my brides, Sophia Shippnick adn saw this post. I am the owner of The White Magnolia Bridal Colelction in San Marco and I have a professional cleaner that I could reccommend that could hopefully get your dress looking in better condition. The cleaner is a professional in cleaning high end fabrics such as silk and will also steam the dress for you after cleaning. Part of the reason it may look like such a limp nood is becacuse its all wrinkled, in addition to the poor cleaning job! Please email me if I can help at all. I would be happy to send you this cleaners information. They are who I send all of my brides to and who I use to clean all my gowns in the store, when needed

Hi there! I am the owner of The White Magnolia Bridal Collection in San Marco. I ran across your post when I was lkooing for pictures from on of my brides, Sophia Schippnick’s wedding. You definitely have to take your dress to someone that specializes in higher end fabrics. I have someone I would be happy to recommend if you would like to give it another shot. I think part of the problem, in addition to the poor job, is that the dress wasn’t steamed after they cleaned it. I have cleaner that I send all my brides to and that I take all my gowns to as well for cleaning. Feel free to email me if I can help at all or if you would like the cleaners information.
