SNEAK PEEK: Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen Launch Juniors Collection for JCPenney

After just adding sunglasses to their high-end line, The Row,Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are already announcing the next addition to their fashion empire: a juniors collection for JCPenney! Olsenboye will be a line of casual sportswear and accessories inspired by teen trends from cities around the world with each new collection highlighting a different city and providing customers with fun, spirited and edgy styles that will constantly change. “Ashley and I felt strongly about creating a unique experience to reach the teen customer,” Mary-Kate said in a statement. Ashley adds, “Olsenboye is an extension of the Dualstar brand delivering trend-based fashion at affordable prices.” And affordable, Olsenboye certainly is. The collection, that will include denim, bottoms, tops, dresses, skirts, shorts, jackets ranging in size from 0-15, plus handbags and shoes, will retail from just $20-$50! A preview collection will be available for a limited time at select JCPenney stores and jcp.com starting November 6, followed by the full launch in February 2010. So far, we like what we see! What is the point???? Every photo taken, they both look like they’re street bums! This is ridiculous~~ They have no sense of fashion people, get a reality check!

I love the idea of affordable Marykate & Ashley clothing, but I hope there is actually a selection and variety. I went to the Manhattan Mall to check out I heart Ronson and they had the smallest section ever.. Look foward to it!

Deanne you are so right! Ugh, I’m TIRED of everyone saying they are trendy. Dressing like a complete SLOB is not trendy and not something I want to buy. They have no sense of style and why can’t people notice this?

You may think they dress like “slobs” but they do design great and cute clothing! Designing and having a good eye for style has nothing to do with how sloppy you think they look.
I love the fact that they have a unique sense of style and do not care what people like you think of them. I also would not call them “trendy” I don’t feel like the Olsens really follow trends they dress however they want despite trends.
I personally am very excited that they are branching out into something I can actually afford.
