FIRST LOOK: Marisa Miller to Rock Victoria Secret’s New Diamond-Studded Bra

New year, stunning new model! Victoria’s Secret has announced that supermodel and Angel Marisa Miller will follow in Gisele Bundchen‘s sexy stilettos as the crown jewel of the next Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show wearing a $3 million diamond-studded bra created by Damiani — and she’s talking exclusively with PEOPLE about her dazzling new role. “It is an enormous honor to wear the Fantasy bra,” says Marisa. “It’s one of the main features in the Fashion Show every year and I’m so excited to walk the runway in it.” And while last year’s model mixed over 2,900 diamonds and 22 rubies in a floral pattern, this year it’s all about a girl’s best friend. Miller says, “The diamonds are in a harlequin pattern and contain white, champagne and cognac colored diamonds. There is also a 16-carat heart shaped champagne diamond pendant dangling in the middle.” And the supermodel continues, this is one case of not having to suffer for beauty. “It is surprisingly comfortable,” she says, “because the Damiani diamonds are embroidered onto the VS Very Sexy Convertible bra — which is actually one of my favorites.” Set your DVR to CBS on Tuesday December 1st at 10:00 PM ET/PT to catch Marisa and the full lineup of models, including Alessandra Ambrosio, Miranda Kerr and Doutzen Kroes, plus a performance by the Black Eyed Peas.

You’ve got to be kidding me. This model isn’t anything out of the ordinary. I can’t believe she’s a Victoria Secret model to boot, they usually only use exceptionally pretty women to model there merchandise. They obviously losing there touch with this woman. There are so many beautiful women out there they better step up there game.I’m not saying she’s not pretty but to be a Victoria Secret Model, come on she just doesn’t fit the bill!!!!

Marissa Miller is so beautiful, great choice. Alhough I agree about the breast implants.
And this is only her third year in the fashion show. She joined VS in 2007.

Penney- Don’t be such a hater, they have the “million dollar plus bra” every year. The model has been one of the long time VS models for several years now.

The bra is something they do for fun every year, who knows and who cares if anyone buys it?

To Penney – Tanya and Tori,

Okay girls… get it together. First of all, Marisa Miller has been a Victoria’s Secret model for years now so she’s not just some lucky chick that got thrown in to the mix on a whim. Second, the “million-dollar” bra has been around even longer. It’s always one of the main showcases of the night. And it’s a HUGE honor to be “the one” chosen to wear it. It was usually Gisele’s gig because she WAS V/S. So kudos to Marisa Miller! She is absolutely gorgeous and is actually one of VS’s top models now. Mainly because she’s not like the other girls that have the exotic appeal. Which brings me to my final point — SHE’S ALL NATUR-ELL!! Her boobs aren’t fake people! If you look at her photos from her very first shoot, years ago on day 1, she’s always been very well endowed. This bra gives a whole lot of push up so I can see where you might get that initial impression, but normally depending on what type of bra or swimsuit she’s wearing, you can totally see that they do all the things yours and mine do. That’s why Tyra was always a hit. Because she had curves, and large yabos that most real women could relate to. I’m just surprised you didn’t already know this???
