Vanessa Paradis to Be the Newest Face of Chanel Beauty

Johnny Depp’s not alone in being bewitched by his girlfriend of more than a decade, Vanessa Paradis. Chanel has just announced that the French singer and actress will be their newest face, starring in a global beauty campaign for their new lipstick collection Rouge Coco de Chanel, which will launch in 2010. It’s not the first time that Vanessa has starred in ads for the brand. In 1992 she dazzled in a campaign for Coco Chanel before becoming Karl Lagerfeld’s muse for Cambon handbags in 2003. great choice: chanel can’t get enough of her – she’s a huge star in her native france yes but why not an international star? she’s just extraordinary- she’s too much humble and her ambition is her private life it seems

I don’t really know her. That’s the only picture of her that I’ve seen and tho she has nice lips, I think she looks not too good. Kind of masculine or something. I’m sure Chanel will do better with lighting, makeup and photoshop and she’ll probably look ok. The models never look like themselves when they get done with the ads.
