Gossip Girl Style Breakdown: Season Three, Episode Five

Lily Bass, played by Kelly Rutherford, might have ditched the black tie wedding for a garden ceremony at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, but that doesn’t mean her Upper East Side guests were any less fashionable. Her daughter, Serena van der Woodsen, played by Blake Lively, celebrated her mother’s nuptials in an olive green J. Mendel strapless dress with beaded detail paired with muted red heels. Blair Waldorf, played by Leighton Meester, also brought high-fashion out of Manhattan donning a color block embroidered Valentino Red dress. And though Serena and Blair’s garden wedding looks are as different as night and day, we love them both! Get their looks for less here.

I have to say I love leighton’s style and elegance. This dress belongs to another era that was more glamorous and that is where leighton belongs too.
