Heidi Klum and Michael Kors Join Saks to Fight Breast Cancer

Art Streiber

Project Runway‘s hosts are really making it work as Heidi Klum and Michael Kors team up with Saks Fifth Avenue for their annual Key to the Cure campaign to raise money for women’s cancer charities. Kors has created a limited-edition T-shirt that the supermodel will wear in a national public service announcement featured in major fashion and lifestyle magazines through the months of September and October. As the campaign’s ambassador, Heidi joins the ranks of Gwyneth Paltrow, Nicole Kidman, Hilary Swank, Charlize Theron and more who have all held the honor in previous years. The Michael Kors limited-edition T-shirts are available at Saks.com and Saks Fifth Avenue stores for $40, with $34 from the sale of each tee benefitting local women’s cancer charities. Or wait until October 15-18, when Saks will donate 2% of sales (up to $250,000) from the shopping weekend to local and national women’s cancer organizations and research centers.

Clark Samuels/Startraks

Looks like Lindsay isn’t the only Lohan working as a designer these days. Just days after her daughter’s Paris runway debut as Ungaro’s artistic advisor, Dina Lohan has announced she will be launching a shoe line, appropriately named “Shoe-Han”, for Long Island based chain store LoveMyShoes.com. And that’s not all, the former E! reality star will also take on the role as national spokesmodel for the retailer appearing later this month on television and radio commercials. Dina’s “Shoe-Han” will be out in time for Mother’s Day 2010. Tell us: Will you buy Dina Lohan’s “Shoe-Han” line?
