Kate Gosselin Debuts New Hairstyle on The View: "Isn't It Cute?"

09/15/2009 at 12:07 PM ET

It’s a new View — and a new do — for Kate Gosselin. On her second day as guest cohost on the talk show, Kate debuted a new wavy look. “You have a new hairstyle. It’s a first!” said Barbara Walters, as Tuesday’s show began. Added co-host Joy Behar, “It looks cute!” Gosselin gave credit to the show’s makeup artists with an enthusiastic, “Your girls back there, whoo baby! Isn’t it cute?” Later in the program, Kate talked about why she’s still wearing her wedding ring even though she and Jon are divorcing. “I said very early on that I would continue to wear it for the kids,” she explains. “We’re not officially divorced yet, and you know, I’ve had it on for 10 years. It’s upsetting to the kids.” Kate also responded to Jon’s comments to Good Morning America last week that he “despises” Kate. “Of course it bothers me,” she said. “Am I going to return the favor? Absolutely not. I am a high-road taker.” Watch a clip of today’s show. Then tell us: What do you think of Kate’s new do?Jason Lynch

It looks really good and it suits her.

Who Cares! I think there are more important issues here, other then her hair.

I personally like the new hair style! One comment below was how did she pay for it? She didn’t have to! The stylist team at The View did it for her b/c she was on the show! People need to quit being so negative to her! I do believe that she caused some of the problems in her marriage and that was PART of the reason it didn’t work, but the other part rests with Jon. He never should have been “out” drinking, bar hopping whatever. If they were that concerned with their marriage, they would have worked on it and worked everything out. Obviously they both have priorities to reorganize!

I love it !

Quite like the new look, she should stick with that one.

OMG she has to be the MOST fake person I have every seen. When she reached for Brarbra’s hand your would think she was BW. And the high road my A$#. She takes what ever road gets her more Press.

Don't Hate on

Stop hating on Kate…the style is cute and she is standing up strong for someone with such a poor excuse for a soon to be ex-husband.

Most of you posting, are you against working mothers all together, or just Kate as a working mother? Do you watch movies, TV shows, read books/magazines, listen to music? The last time I checked a lot of the women who contribute to these things, who are in the entertainment industry, have children and a career. I don’t see what the issue is with her wanting to work. Elisabeth on the View started from a Reality TV show. She has three kids. I hope you all show her the same hate. Granted her personal life isn’t all you read about, but still. You’re beef shouldn’t be about her working and not being with her kids. I happen to love her type A personality!

The new hairstyle is really cute!!! Much better! However, I think the whole Jon/Kate situation is just a big “ego” trip! The more attention each can get for themselves, the more they like it! I wouldn’t be surprised if the reality show didn’t pay them a couple mill to get the divorce! If they truly cared about the kids, they wouldn’t be putting it all out in the public!
