Stop hating and give the respect she deserves. She is a poweful black woman who does not have to lie about whether she is wearing her real hair or not. But with respect and honesty she wanted to help most of us to embrace our real appearance. When a black woman wears her hair natural meaning no perm, they have a better appearance in the eyes of white people. You keep it real with no confusion. I know how hard it is to embrace this natural concept for i am still trying to grow my hair natural and wear nice African wooden style earings, make up and different color of scars. White people loves it.

I believe that Tyra is doing a wonderful and honest job by showing us her real hair. Why do you guys think she will lie about something so simple?. The woman is beautiful and powerful, with or without real hair people will still respect her.Stop hating and let us give her a warm hand of applause.Her and Oprah are my model of succesful women, they are doing a great job in the world of entertaining women.

I am so proud of her for doing that! For those who have not been dressing up and wearing extensions for years, you really can not relate to how major that is. I still dont have the courage to do the same. You start to rely on the image everyone else sees and it is really hard to not become a slave to that look. good for you girl. Nice, now she looks like Robocop when he takes his helmet off. But that’s just a Tyra thing, and I pretty confident she’ll look great again in 3-4 weeks, esp. with natural “puff” of the hair. That look more refreshing than the flattened look weaves give.

that si her real hair. her hair is curly and when wet it looks straight (just like my hair). it is extremely hard to comb when it’s dry. so stop making a big fuss over the small stuff

i think it’s cool she did that, but it would have been more beneficial if she had kept it like that longer.
what i have issue with is how skinny she is now. she was always such a postergirl for curves and fighting the super skinny model industry, and now she is conforming and getting thinner and thinner by the day.

I am over 50 and think tyra’ss beautiful, plain, with makeup, or without, with a weave, contacts, or etc. or without. In her business you present your best and have fun with it. At my age I do my best and have fun with it. I would like to know about weave health what’s good what’s not. My hair has been broken off and just thinned out from weave’s and braids and I hate wigs. So any advice would be helpful.

I think it’s great the message she’s trying to portray this season. She gets into stuff that other people won’t touch and I commend her for it. I’ve been a fan of her for YEARS (before all the ANTM hype even).. She is a beautiful, successful, independent, true-to-herself woman. It wouldn’t hurt to follow her example.

I dont believe that’s her real hair, I have that same length and there’s no reason to weave or wig it out, I think Tyra’s faking alot of things. My brothers ex girlfriend went to a taping of her show and said Tyra writes the questions for all the people who ask questions at her show, and those people have to get their make-up done to be on tv.

Hiding her true beauty means SHE’S INSECURE!

She’s not happy the way she looked, inside as well as outside. She’s insecure, that’s for sure, until NOW.

I personally love TYra! I think that her hair was really nice and beautiful! To me it was inspiring because many black women are afraid to show their real hair. They are often times scared of what the public would think of them if thery are not all done up with weaves etc! This to me and for me was a really good thing because it shows that black women can be beautiful by just being themselves! Tyra is a true inspiation!
