Kristen Stewart: It’s “Bizarre” to Be a Fashion Trendsetter

more about "Twilight Video", posted with vodpod

Being an It Girl comes with some perks, like keeping designers duds from events, but Twilight‘s Kristen Stewart reveals that she’s not quite at that pivotal star status — yet. “The really cool stuff I never get to keep any of that,” the 19-year-old actress says in a video interview with EW.com. “Like anything for an event or anything like that. I’m just not important enough yet, I think.” While she’s walked the red carpet in edgy dresses by Yigal Azroul, Herve Leger and Camilla and Marc, Stewart says it’s the items out of her own closet that seem to be making a mark on Twilighters. “The things that have been sold out have been the things that people are actually able to get that are semi-cheap,” she explains. “Those things like sweatshirts and jackets, those things are mine, which is bizarre to have people go out and buy.” Find out more-behind-the-scenes scoop on Kristen and New Moon costar Taylor Lautner at EW.com – Janet Mock.

Katie Holmes to Launch Clothing Line in the Fall

And now, a rep for Katie confirms to PEOPLE that a “line will be sold at Maxfield in the fall.” Katie and Jeanne are teaming up for a collection that will include women’s and children’s clothes, according to WWD, which also writes that the “premium designer” line will be full of classic fare and the children’s range is presumably inspired by Katie’s daughter Suri Cruise. We can’t wait to see it! Tell us: Are you excited to see Katie Holmes’s collection?

Would You Pair Dark Lips with Smoky Eyes Like Diane Kruger?

Flynet

Dark eye shadow and bold lips are the biggest trends of the upcoming fall season, but the classic oft-repeated rule of makeup artists is to choose either a strong eye or lip but never, ever both at once. But the ever-fashionable Diane Kruger defied this cosmetic commandment by pairing a dark matte lipstick with a dramatic smoky eye for the Inglourious Basterds premiere in Berlin and looked pretty darn amazing. But, like many of Diane’s looks, this may be one better left to stylish former-models. We want to know: What do you think about the combination? Would you wear a dark eye shadow with a bold lipstick?
